We first briefly visited the excellent Boaters Bar on our Lakes holiday, this year we got to make a proper night of it and my fiancé and I were incredibly impressed with this wonderful establishment.

Great location with an outdoor terrace at the back with views across the marina and the lake. The pizza was good. Staff were very friendly and polite. They refilled our water bottles too which made us happy. Keep up the good work!
Great atmosphere to have a drink or some food. I highly recommend the outdoor area at the very back of the bar. Its lovely to sit by the lake and relax.

Called in just after opening as we were in need of coffee, choice helped by them being dog friendly. Place was almost empty, however that was not a problem, coffee was excellent, however not much cake left to order so went with a garlic bread with cheese as a quick snack to share. Coffee was almost
Fantastic location overlooking the lake. Inside is great as well. But the really special thing about it is the huge craft beer selection they got there. Food wise they got only pizzas, but fortunately it's a very good oven baked pizza, which we enjoyed.

So amazing place with warm welcome, great choices of beers, wine , cocktails and one of the best pizza ever I have "Balli bros". If you coming to bowness, you need to pop in and check this bar including out side siting with great view on lake.

Love it here! Been twice now. Atmosphere is always good. Child and dog friendly. Nice place to stop for a relax and a drink whilst visiting the lake. Bar service is excellent and quick.
Freshly made pizza to eat in or takeaway. Dog friendly. Opposite pay and display car park. Pizza was ok, great size and fresh. A bit floppy and flavour lacking
Really impressed by this place! Drink selection was extensive and very reasonably priced. Location was lovely with great views and parking nearby. Little games area which was fun. The pizza I had was one of the nicest I've ever had!! Staff were nice too and lots of cute dogs.
Usually very good on the weekend, lively especially when there’s good entertainment on, however food usually quite a wait no matter whether the bar is empty or full. Drinks are reasonably priced for the area however they charge us something different every round even when we order the same drinks? S
I don't usually eat pizza but had no choice as that's mostly what they offer, have to say it was so tasty I throughly enjoyed it. So did all 6 of us.
Seb was great, pulled pork nachos were so amazing. Fab staff, fab environment, fab everything.
Boaters bar was recommended to us by our lovely Airbnb host as one of the places for the best vibes and reasonably priced food in the area.

One of the best beer gardens in bowness due to the view over the lake and the sun trap.
That alone is worth 5 stars.
Never eaten there but know they just do pizzas (and offer gluten free which is a positive).
The staff are all quite young kids but do their best.
Just had drinks here. Great selection of drinks within a relaxed atmosphere. Staff were very friendly and helpful and deserve a special mention for retrieving and storing some lost property for us, thank you.
Amazing venue with a really nice vibe. Staff are knowledgeable and friendly. There is a wide range of drinks available from craft ales to cocktails. Food is available but we had already eaten. Might have to come back to eat.
