Really nice pub. Wanted somewhere nice and quiet after walking round windermere for a couple of hours. Outside area was really nice and cold pint of San Miguel hit the spot 😋

Pretty little place. A great selection of spirits and local beers.
Their open fire on a winters evening makes it feel very inviting.

Beautiful old pub with an amazing beer garden, situated down a little alley. Highly recommend dropping in for a pint if you're in the area - rain or shine, there's a beautiful outdoor section and a large conservatory too.

Lovely stay, really child and dog friendly. Rooms are really clean and the bar has a very welcoming atmosphere. Kath and Charlie couldn’t do more to help you during your stay. Highly recommend!
One of the few places in Bowness that are dog friendly after 9pm. And they are very friendly.

Lovely pub down a quiet side street. Great garden to sit outside in on a nice day too. The staff are welcoming and friendly, service almost instant and the prices reasonable. Tucked away it isn't somewhere you're likely to discover easily, but it's worth taking the small detour if you're looking for

Really lovely pub tucked away in central Bowness-on-Windermere, the staff were lovely and the room was just what we needed. Considering the rooms were in an annex off the pub we didn't hear any pub-noise at all. Overall really accommodating and friendly staff, a cozy base for exploring the lakes.
Stayed 2 nights over this weekend just gone (Sunday 10th April 2021) service was great the room was a lot nicer than what I expected and had the comfiest bed ever.
Kath & Charlie today we’re amazing and both went above and beyond, making me, my GF Chloe & dog Rocko so very welcome.
We will be back
