Good: the food is pretty delicious.. Not quite all the dishes are authentic, but flavours are good and we thoroughly enjoyed the meal.
Bad: pretty chaotic and spotty service. Lots of tables missing dishes or waiting a long time, orders wrong etc. We actually had good service, but it felt like mostly
Great Chinese restaurant! Plenty of vegetarian options and amazing service. We practically had our own private waiter because we chose to sit upstairs. I had the satay bean curd, vegetable fried rice, and crispy seaweed with cashews.
Had a lovely meal here sunday night. Got the special for £17.50. The mixed combination starter and salt and pepper chicken with fried rice was delicious. Will definitely come here again when I'm back in 3 weeks.

Excellent value & really tasty! We weren't sure what to expect initially as the 3 course meal for 2(prawn crackers, chicken&sweetcorn soup, hoisin crispy duck wraps, s&s chicken, beef in black bean & egg fried rice, coffee/tea each) was only £30. But all the food was so nice and well presented! Load
The young Chinese woman who served my wife and I was extremely attentive and provided a quick and efficient service.
I asked for extra duck sauce,and this was quickly brought to me.
The cost was very reasonable.
Definitely recommend.

Really good food!! The staff make you feel very welcome and good vibe through the restaurant. My only issue is we had our 4month baby and couldn’t keep the pushchair up (lack of room) or get a high chair so I had to eat with a baby on my lap. Joys of being a parent! Really good other than that.
Just had a fantastic meal in this restaurant. Can't fault anything. Service was excellent and the food was delicious. Toilets also very clean . I never do reviews but had to with the service and tasty food.
We have a fast bite at this You & Me chinese restaurant. They prepared your meal hot and tasty and quite fast as we have experienced.
As we are really hungry the food was good and satisfy our appetite. You can also share the meals with your partner.
We had the £15 seasonal meal and it was amazing. Best Chinese we've ever had, meal was presented really nicely, so much we had to take some home. Staff were really friendly and even refilled the teapot for free.
I agree with other reviewers this place deserves more than its star rating. We had a fantastic meal and great service. Even though my partner is not a Chinese fanatic he said this was really good. We opted for the set menu for £15 each. Lovely meal. We had chicken and sweetcorn soup, duck and pancakes, sweet and sour chicken, chicken curry and egg fried rice. Efficient service. Not having to wait long between courses.
Staff are wonderful. Food is fresh and tasty. The decor and general shabbiness let's it down. But some of the best gems are not the smartest. Like all restaurants in bowness it is overpriced for what you are getting. The 3 course fixed menu at £13 seems good value but you only get to choose one main
We had a takeaway from You and Me last week whilst on holiday in Bowness and it was lovely. The food was still hot when we got it back to our caravan and it was all really good quality, large portions and really delicious. The rice was light and fluffy. Would definitely recommend this place and will
My wife and I Had a sit down meal in this amazing Chinese restaurant even though it was busy we were given a table straight away and the food was lovely. We opted for the set menu amazing. Staff friendly and food hot and tasty. When we go to Windermere again this will be our first stop.
Very much enjoyed our take away last night, good flavours, good portions, however we are big eaters and could have done with second portion of rice. But definitely not worth marking it down for that. Not bright artifical colours, just lovely food.

Amazing place, such lovely food and reasonably priced. The best hot and sour soup I have ever had. Staff were very friendly too.
