What a find! We came upon Caffe Riva by chance and were really impressed! Friendly staff, delicious, reasonably priced food and lovely contemporary settings. Would most definitely recommend and visit again, though would book next time to ensure our table 😊 excellent ❤️

Popped in for lunch on Saturday, got the lunch menu £7.50 for a main. It was really nice and you got a full portion too. If you're in the area would definitely recommend it.

Would've given it a 5 star if the waiting wasn't too long. For starter we had potatoes which was lovely just slightly cold though. For main we had pizza and pasta, pasta was absolutely delicious, it had such great flavours, very yummy. Pizza was also very nice however we've had better pizza but that doesn't mean it wasn't nice, we still enjoyed it all. Hygiene level 10/10. Very clean and everyone serving had masks on. The time we went, it was very busy and you could tell the staff members were very stressed as they were trying to cater for everyone but it did get incredibly slow and we did have to wait a while inorder to get our food and even to pay. Would I come back? Yes, I certainly will because despite the wait, the food was lovely and delicious.

Overall very nice, we ordered calamari, bruchetta and caprese salad for starters, followed by a couple of pizzas and a risotto. The risotto was overcooked unfortunately and the mocktail we ordered was just okay. Even then I'd give it 4 stars as the food was fresh and service was friendly. Worth the visit if you want something other than fish n chips.

Tasty pizza even though salami could have been better. Spot on service, there was only one waiter running up and down (place was completely full plus people queuing). He still managed, made sure everyone was being served and taken care of. Really nice customer approach, many waiters out there could learn from him.

Very nice Italian, service was very friendly. Food was great and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Only downside was the tables were a little too close together for my liking.

Small but nice and cosy pizzeria. Very friendly waitresses. The menu was luckily bigger, so much to choose from ( pasta's, pizza's, 5 kinds of desserts) they also can serve cocktails and have plenty to offer on the wine list. Pricess are very good and I was served before I good look around. It's situared on a corner so don't think you can park your car there.

Nice food with fast service at a central location within Bowness. Variety of food to choose from, however I can confirm that the pizzas were good. Design is contemporary with good views of surrounding area.

Lovely little Italian in the heart of Bowness-On-Windermere. Very friendly staff and tasty food. Also very dog friendly which is great if you have a dog!!!

Incredible, authentic Italian meals packed full of flavour. The 4 Formaggi was perfect, the crust was crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. And the combination of cheeses made for a flavour packed classic pizza

Such a lovely place. Our other reservation cancelled on us and we were left without a place to eat on a very busy night. Stumbled at Cafe Riva, and although it was fully booked, the lovely staff managed to squeeze us in. The service was terrific and we had delicious pizzas - would definitely recommend the Tris and the Quattro Formaggi, plus the Tiramisu. It’s dog friendly too, and we’ll definitely be back as they treated us so well.

Lovely food for lunch on a wet and windy day. Here in Dec 20 with all the social distancing requirements and the tables well spaced out. Cheesy garlic bread and Bruchetta to start were really really tasty! Had Pizzas for main course and they were just as nice. Recommended.
