Our group of seven (5 adults, 2 children) stopped by for some lunch. The service was good, portion size generous and the food was gorgeous. The only issue we had was with them forgetting to make my daughters pizza. However, this was very quickly rectified and we were not charged for this pizza. The staff were polite and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Will definately be visiting again.
Family friends get together. Central bowness italian. Great friendly staff and excellent italian food. Best i have had for a long time. Would highly recommend.
Excellent food and service as always! The food is always fresh and cooked to order. The pizzas are delicious and the garlic bread with cheese is the best! Lots of vegetarian options too! We always receive a warm welcome here, the staff are lovely! See you next time �
The best Italian I have ever had, definitely recommend I absolutely loved it
We booked to come on Christmas Eve this year, we have visited at least twice previous this year as they do a gluten free pizza and garlic bread. When I ordered this another waiter came over and asked if I was coeliac I said yes I was. He said due to cross contamination I couldn’t have it and would need to order something else. So I ordered goats cheese with walnuts and pear. The steak and chips. Although I really wanted a pizza, I certainly didn’t want to be ill, so was more then great full for the advice over cross contamination. Really enjoyed our meal here.

We love it down at the lakes and found trattoria to be excellent Italian food, we love the staff and the atmosphere and travel from Bolton Lancashire just to visit our favourite Italian restaurant... love this place
Whilst here on holiday we came across this restaurant, it was so good we came back again for the last night of our holiday. The food was Amazing, huge portions and the staff were fantastic, nothing was to much trouble. As a vegetarian they have an excellent choice and are will to chop and change dishes to suit you.
If you get the Chance to visit you won't be disappointed.

Lovely place, AMAZING FOOD! I had the cannoline with ricotta & spinach (£15.95). Just heavenly! Very tasty and was served hot hot hot in a metal pan. The staff were very friendly & helpful. Atmosphere was nice & place was clean & warm. I had a great experience. I'd highly recommend this restaurant.

And oh the team at trattoria did not disappoint.
Wonderful stuff, phenomenal food and a real great environment. Felt like we was abroad given the hot day we had and we was sat outside. Birthday treat and happy birthday song by the whole team on my request which was amazing (she was not best pleased with me, but she loved it really)
But this gets a full 5 Star Review from us both.

Visited as a child/teen many years ago and wanted to see if the lasagne was still as amazing as I remembered, it was!! We have recently been to Italy and this lasagne was much better than the one I’d had in Italy
Starter was garlic bread to share, it was OK lacking the garlic flavour , however both our mains were good and good value . After the meal waited for a while , not offered the dessert menu , or any other drinks . So paid the bill and left
Popped in here over the weekend, a very busy little place where by chance we got the last table for two, I’d definitely recommend booking as they had to turn away several people afterwards. Inside is nicely decorated and has a clean presentation, fresh flowers on the table and also a lit candle in matching glass jars. A couple of very hardworking guys circling the tables getting drinks and bringing food, couldn’t fault there work ethic at all. We ordered a pollo pizza and a trattoria pizza with a size order of wedges and a garlic dip. The food came without a silly wait and was freshly cooked, the garlic dip was very generous and had great flavour, at the end of our meal two shots of limoncello were brought out which was a nice touch. Definitely somewhere I’d return to if I was visiting the area again.
This is by far one of the best Italian restaurants we have ever been to. Very clean, phenomenal food, really friendly & lovely atmosphere. We were holidaying but kept going back. You won't regret eating here.
Don't be dissuaded by the slightly cliche look and lack of ambience.. judge La Trattoria by it's fantastic, authentic cuisine coupled with charming service.
Lasagna Al Forno and Gnocchi with King Prawns and Gorgonzola were both fantastic.
Ordered take out whilst staying nearby, everything was very tasty and very big portions! Looking forward to visiting again.
Absolutely loved the food here. We walked in without a reservation and were seated promptly. The staff was very friendly and relaxed. At no point we felt rushed or pressured. The menu is quite extensive with good options for vegetarians. I took their vegetable stew which was absolutely soul warmingly delightful. All meals had very healthy potions and were done to high quality - whether it was plating or the taste itself. Tiramisu here was very very tasty.
Food portions are large I ordered AOP, my kids ordered cheese pasta and garlic pizza with caramelised onion. The food is quite authentic but bit bland to our palate. Place is quite cozy with old Italian music. They have quite a few vegetarian options.
Went here late on a Monday evening. Staff were fantastic and made sure that we were looked after well as we were sat outside. Food was incredible, calzones were completely full of flavour and ingredients, both seafood and normal calzone were one of the best we’ve ever had. Well worth popping into for a meal if you are in the area.
Not too crowded. Lots of pizzas to choose with average price around 15.

Can't fault this place at all. Staff were really welcoming and attentive. There was a lovely buzz about the place. Quite a bit menu but we went for the chicken Caesar salad and it was delicious. It was so big, loads of chicken and probably one of the best Caesar salads I've ever had. Would definitely go back to try something else.
