First time in and although the Resturant was heaving we were greeted warmly , found a table and shown the menu with personal recommendations from our waitress, judging on the amount of Chinese/ Thai customers we thought the food must be good and it was . Brilliant food and service will defo be back.

Went back after coming back to the lakes after two years, food perfect like last time, service spot on, staff friendly and helpful, take no notice of the reviews saying it's bad, you can't please everyone. Would highly recommend this restaurant
My girlfriend and i come to the lakes 2 or 3 times a year. We always come here. Great food lovely people. Would highly recommend the mixed sea food plater .
We eat here every time we stay in Bowness and it never disappoints.
We ate there last night (Monday night) for my husbands 30th Birthday meal. No reservation made and we were seated immediately. Lovely food as usual....sweetcorn fritters, jungle curry, pad Thai. Thanks for another great meal!

Being a Filipino I simply love Asian food. However I love experimenting other cuisines but one of my many favourite is Thai food. The delicate balance of the spices to add full flavour to the food simply exquisite to my pallet. Staff are excellent and friendly too! My choice is hot and spicy đ¶ đđ
Absolutely delicious. Called in for the early special and couldnt fault the food or the price and will definitely return. Was almost put off by some of the negative reviews but really pleased we chose to find out for ourselves.

Overall: One of the nicest places I have eaten at whilst being in the Lake District. A brilliant evening with food that makes you want to come back for more.
We really enjoyed our meal here. Would recommend the Som Tum and the sweetcorn fritters. The place looks small at first but there is plenty of seating upstairs. Service was good and friendly too.
Ate here this weekend and can safely say we were blown away. The service was friendly and efficient, never felt rushed or that the courses arrived too quickly. The staff made you feel welcome and could not do enough for you.

Went to windemere last week to have a summer break and the weather was so unpredictable! Me and my friends were craving for some hot soups so visited this nice place
We arrived before our reservation time but still be seated by a friendly staff. Foods were very delicious with colorful decorations and good seasoning. Stirred fried vegetables and squids were great. The flavor of tom yum was relatively strong and might be too spicy for most of the western ppl
Food was good , not spicy since it doesnât suit the local palate. Nice ambience good service, very courteous staff. Red curry was thick with strong coconut flavour and stir fry had chewy chicken but we still liked it. It was more than our expectations in Windermere.
Donât order coconut rice as itâs more like a sweet dish go for jasmine rice.
If I could give more than 5 stars I would! From the moment we stepped in, the staff made sure our every need was taken care of. The environment and setting was absolutely beautiful and then, the food! It was absolutely spectacular. Every dish with beautiful delicate flavours and I'd have to say the best Thai we have sampled. And the drinks superb as well. We may just return tomorrow for dinner as well!

We had an amazing meal here we ordered jungle curry, chicken panang, sticky rice, spring rolls and noodles. The food was very good and nicely presented. The service was 11/10 very friendly and welcoming. The restaurant had a very chilled vibe and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal, we will definitely be back.
Since we were the only ones in the restaurant, the service was excellent. The food was also excellent with incredible flavors. My only negative is the portions are on the small side for the money but I still wanted to give them five stars because it was so good...đ
Lively experience here. Very authentic Thai food with a variety of choice. The fried rice inside of the pineapple was crispy and tasty. Coconut rice was fragrance and go really well with my red curry.
Our servers was really nice even though we didn't have an appointment. They even run up and down to deliver food to our table which are not suppose to happen.talk about going the extra mile!

Eventually everything calmed down and all improved
I had mushroom Tom kha which was very spicy to what I normally get a a Thai and believe me I love Thai
Highly recommend the coconut rice. It tastes good and rich of sweet coconut flavour. A nice place with beautiful decoration. Staff is helpful.

We were quite reluctant to visit due to the abundance of negative reviews, however, our love of Thai food got the better of us and we decided to give it a try. The food was absolutely spot on, as were the drinks! I grew up in Southeast Asia, and have been to Thailand at least 50 times in my life, and can confidently say that the flavours were incredibly authentic, tangy, spicy, sweet and the rest of it. It was also the detail, our sticky rice came in traditional bamboo baskets and the crockery resembled Thailand and its culture. The waiter was lovely, and the ambience even better. We arenât from Windemere but if we ever come back, weâre definitely coming back to Jintana! Thank you for the delicious food and experience!
Also, thought itâs worth mentioning as Iâve seen a lot of poor reviews for this reason, to anyone who is about to leave a 1 star review for a âwateryâ jungle curry; itâs supposed to be that way, as has traditionally been cooked in Thailand for centuries, just give it a google :)
This place doesnât looks much from outside but has good amount of space upstairs. Itâs tastefully decorated. We enjoyed the food and presentation here. We were celebrating so one of those days when you are ok with the cost. Jintana platter was really interesting. We ordered Thai curry đ sticky rice đ and chicken satay. Some drinks were very sweet and had too much syrup. Mojito was good.
We walked to this restaurant from the hotel so not sure about the parking. During weekends or busy holiday season itâs best to reserve the table.
Surprisingly authentic Thai food in the heart of the Lake district. All of the dishes we ordered were delicious and we cannot recommend this place highly enough for anyone who wants to try the real Thai cuisine. A special mention must go to the fried corn cobs. They were mouthwatering, so don't let yourself down and do order them for starters. The only criticism I have is that the dessert portion sizes were a bit too large, so please consider serving maybe half the size.
