A great place to go for a nice meal with a fantastic view of the marina.
Sometimes the staff are under pressure at busy times and they do their best !
Be nice and speak to them how you would like to be spoken to !
Always book in advance as they often have to turn people away because they have no tab
Really cool place to eat and look out the big windows at the boats. Food and service were great. Delicious sausage and sticky toffee pudding.
Great food - nothing crazy innovative but delicious all the same. Food came out quick. Atmosphere was a bit quiet and the restaurant overlooked a marina.
Update - Dislike the new menu and preferred the old one. We visit and stay at the Marina twice a year for holidays. Food was very nice but prices quite steep. I had the Portobello mushroom pizza and wife had the gammon.
Excellent food with a beautiful view. We visited the Boathouse for the first time as a walk-in, a table for 2 was quickly given to us and our drinks ordered and received very quickly. Food was great I opted for the Ceaser Salad without anchovies in which the chef was happy to accommodate and my part

Had lunch here. Staff were great and food was good. It was very very quiet only us and 1 other couple. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Great views across the marina and ideal for us as we were staying in one of the marina apartments.
Took a while to get in the place because it has a pin code barrier, and the staff gave us the wrong number twice. they did apologise .nice clean place food is tasty staff were very polite will go again
Fabulous place before we went as a foot passenger on the ferry for a walk on the other side to Hawkshead

Called in on Saturday 1st April....
no booking at around 6.15pm.
2 tables were set for large parties, but a table was found upstairs for us, with a great view over the marina.
Food and drinks were ordered and came quickly.

A bit further away from the main tourist attractions area but it was worth it. Food was great at reasonable price. Middle was fresh and juicy. Gammon was good too. Would recommend.
Straight forward menu well priced and good quality, friendly service, convivial atmosphere. And lovely location.

Came in for lunch, the food was fantastic, especially the mussels. Service was fast and efficient too. Will happily return.

Place is amazing! Food is always great and service is on point. Always a great atmosphere and can have a good meal here anytime (Breakfast, lunch or Dinner)
Also New owners have done a class job and this place is the best it's ever been!!
Didn’t make it due to illness but they were SO kind about it. Very thoughtful and told us they hope things get better soon. That extra bit of compassion can only mean excellence throughout 👍
