Couldn't fault anything, lovely little restaurant with quaint decor, service was amazing and quick and the food frankly was fantastic. Totally recommend this place. The price is as you would expect for a busy tourist location and high quality food. Absolutely loved it they even accommodated our request for a non menu dish.

My fiance and I had a excellent meal here for his 50th birthday meal. Accompanied by a lovely stay in the Lakes. We both are looking forward to returning to your restaurant. This was the best Thai meal we have ever had. Wendy and Mike

Great Thai restaurant with authentic curries and good choice of starters / other dishes. Portion sizes are very generous as well, we shared a starter, rice and had a curry each and were stuffed. Very friendly staff and efficient service. The atmosphere and design of the restaurant is wonderful as well. If you are in the area and wanting some Thai food, you won’t be disappointed with a visit here.

Absolutely delicious food. Authentic Thai food. Everything look clean and hygienic. We didn’t have to wait for long time after placing order. Service is excellent; waitresses are very polite and accommodating and efficient. Quite popular restaurant so that it is very just at dinner time 18:00 to 19:00. Atmosphere is very good with the view to mountain when dinning in upstairs. It is a must go place if you like Thai food.

An extremely popular Thai food place in Windermere. I was not necessarily planning on eating Thai food, but I walked by hear from my hotel on the way to the lakes and I founded bustling with people of all backgrounds and nationalities passionately devouring the food. Thus, I thought it would be delicious, and it was. I'm not sure where I would rank it among the places with the best Thai food I have eaten, but the service was generous and thoughtful, and the food, steaming and hot, came quickly. If you are in Windermere and you are at all interested in Thai cuisine, I recommend coming here, but be warned that if you arrive at a popular time (say, from 6 or so to 8), it might be difficult to find a table.

The House of Siam, nestled in the heart of Bowness-on-Windermere, offers an extraordinary Thai dining experience. With its authentic Thai surroundings, this restaurant serves a delightful selection of Thai cuisine. Notably, their grilled Cumbrian sausage with green curry sauce is a signature dish that tantalizes taste buds. Whether you dine indoors or alfresco in their heated outdoor area, the House of Siam promises an unforgettable culinary journey. The interior is well decorated, people are friendly and the food are super tasty. Highly recommend.

Missed the lunchtime rush, so we didn't have a reservation. The interior had a distinct exotic vibe, and both the kitchen and staff were Thai. The service was quite attentive and friendly. We ordered the Tom Yum soup and seafood platter for two, and the flavors were incredibly authentic. Highly recommend the big prawn fried rice and sea bass in red curry. The seafood was fresh, and the taste was unlike typical British cuisine. A Thai restaurant we really enjoyed and highly recommend.

Best GREEN CURRY I’VE EVER TASTED IN THE UK. Every time I travel around, I always look for asian restaurants to feed the asian in me. And to my surprise this restaurant actually has the best curry I’ve ever tasted in the UK. It’s so rich and perfectly balanced—even the spiciness level is perfect for my tongue. Will be coming back whenever I visit again. Thanks so much!

The ambience and decoration was great. Great service. The food was sweetish, as expected with Thai cuisine. However I felt like I should eat something spicy after a meal. PS this could be personal experience being an Indian

Enjoyed our meal tonight. Best part was the prawn pad thai noodles. Had the sharing starter, jungle curry, jasmine rice and massaman curry as well. Just be careful if you are driving as we asked for non alcoholic beer and a singha. The peroni came in a pint glass and we queried. Turned out not to be the non alcoholic version although they promptly came with a bottle of non alcoholic peroni upon us querying

On visiting the area my partner suggested we eat here. I checked out the menu and found plenty to choose from, even for me as a vegetarian. From the moment we walked through the door to the moment we paid. We were made most welcome. The food was clearly freshly cooked, but arrived very promptly. The portion sizes were enough to feel full, but not uncomfortably stuffed. The tastes were authentic and the food presented was beautiful. The staff were attentive but not pushy. A very pleasant visit to this gorgeously colourful decorated restaurant. It was my partners birthday and I very subtly mentioned it on arrival. Then when dessert came, without request, candles arrived on the banana fritter desert and the whole restaurant burst into a happy birthday song. Thank you so much for a great experience, one I'd love to repeat when I return.

Just went in on the spur of the moment . We always like to try the Thai restaurant where ever we go. The staff were very friendly, service was great. I had the seafood stir fry with jasmine rice. Throughly enjoyed it. You could pick out all of the flavours, ginger came through, could have done with a bit more heat from the chilli and a little less garlic, however,on the whole cooked very well. Vegetables were still nice and crunchy. Muscles were easy to get out of the shells and the rest of the sea food was firm but not over cooked. My partner had Chicken Curry which she said was amazing. Not as authentic as some Thai restaurant we have been to, however,it is a bit more touristy.Would go back again.

Such a lovely restaurant. Good food and friendly staff. We ordered "Set Menu A" which was perfect for both of us who wanted to taste variety. This was our first encounter with Thai food and wasn't disappointed. Definitely recommended.
