Food was excellent at this large Cafe/restaurant just 10mins walk from our cottage. Some staff could maybe be a bit cheerier but we all have off days at work. I had the double beef burger & my wife had a baked potato. Both were delicious. Decent sized menu & licenced as well. No non alcoholic beer w
We were greeted upon arrival and the food arrived really quickly. The vegan breakfast and full English breakfast were delicious, aside from the mushrooms being dry. The music was unobtrusive and staff were friendly. Will definitely be back.
Great breakfast here on Christmas Eve. Only a few tables inside, there were tables outside with blankets provided. Highly recommended
We ordered the vegan breakfast and salmon scrambled eggs for breakfast. The food was nice but nothing outstanding. The service was neat considering it was busy and in a small location. The desserts looked amazing but we were full so we didn't get around to it.
Food was great. But service was not up to the mark. We had to remind them about our order couple of times and still our order had missing items which in the end we cancelled it because everyone was finished with their breakfast.
We stopped for lunch after finding what looked like a nice cafe & we were not left disappointed. The Full English was very tasty, the bacon was almost like a gammon steak but very nice & the sausage was very nicely seasoned. Would definitely pop in here for another Full Engish, if & when we are in W

Great coffee stop and cafe. We enjoyed the full English breakfast and the waffles. Price reasonable, service good. Next to public car park. Opens fairly early 8:30am.
Lovely little spot, we sat outside with our three dogs in late Nov, blankets and pillows were provided as well as an electric heater! Coffee and full English was delicious (perfect combination to ease our slight hangovers 🙈). Prices were great and staff were super. Would love to return next time we'

Vegetarian options are limited but they have good vegan food options.
Vegan meal is quite costlier than vegetarian.
Service is really very appreciatable, as they customized our order and it comes out better than we expected.

We visited here after an afternoon in Windermere, & decided to go for the soup & toastie option. We both had the soup of the day which was leek & potato, with a cheese toastie & a brie, bacon & cranberry toastie. Best waffle I’ve had in years! Very nice millionaire shortbread but one is enough for two. All the food looked lovely! Great service. There is limited seating inside but outside if the weather is nice.
Awesome! I arrived very late the night before and all eateries closed, so my need for food this morning was overwhelming and they did not disappoint me. Perfect English breakfast and coffee ( proper Italian coffee ) even the little birds come for a nibble awe....
Looked inviting as we were passing so called in. Sat outside under canopy, patio heater above us and blankets provided in case you got cold. We both had toasties which were very good, mine was bacon, brie and cranberry and my friend had goats cheese and caramelised onion. Both with a side salad and
Spent a few days in Bowness and went to this cafe twice. First for a coffee then for breakfast. Enjoyed it both times. Bit of a squeeze inside if you have mobility issues but outside seating also available depending upon the weather.
Excellent well cooked breakfast served by a lovely friendly young lady in a small, but beautiful restaurant in a fantastic location a short walk from the lake. Well worth a visit.
Great food, friendly service and nice warm atmosphere on a cold day. The blankets and heat lamps were much appreciated!
