We had a really lovely lunch here on the terrace which has incredible views across the water. The terrace is dog friendly and also has heaters which ticked multiple boxes! The pizza dough and toppings were really nice, and the meatball starter was delicious! I would’ve liked the crust a bit bigger, softer and doughier but that’s my preference. The service was spot on, really friendly and attentive staff who made us feel very welcomed and looked after.

Really amazing experience. Had a pizza, a started and desert here. All great quality. Really nice place to sober up after having visited Bowmore Distillery. Location is good, interior is cool. Outside seating is available, though it was very cold, even with the blankets they provided. Gave us free tea (with maybe a bit of whisky) to keep us warm. Staff was super friendly and nice to chat with. They completed the experience. Would definitely recommend when visiting Islay.

Cosy restaurant with great food and lovely staff. First time in this restaurant as I'm in Islay for work. Staff very helpful in making sure I was warm and comfortable at my table. Even put Evanescence on the Alexa for me. Nice tables and a dome outside, pity about the torrential rain as it would be nice to sit here looking out at the Bay. Highly recommend this wee gem of a restaurant.

The pizza is good. The restaurant uses San Marzano tomatoes for their sauce. Not sure how long the dough is fermented for, but I'd wager overnight. We had a "build your own" pizza, which ended up being a bit underwhelming at £17.50. Maybe it's not worth it to go with anything else than the pre-made menu items. Reservation are essentially mandatory there, but you can get take away. Its quite busy. I'd go back, but there are plenty of other very good, tasty, and filling options for £15-20 on the island.

Very nice hand stretched stone baked pizza. We sat on the covered and heated terrace with a view of the Paps of Jura. A good choice including the ability to build your own pizza from a margherita base. Salt and chilli squid was really well cooked and very tasty.

Really good food really nice place! We had to book and got a seat on the terrace which overlooks the bay, had heaters and blankets and was really cozy despite the weather! Had nothing but nice interactions with all the staff and the pizza was great too!

Amazing find on Islay! The staff is warm and accommodating and food far exceeded expectations. We had trouble finding good Italian food in Scotland and this was the best place by far. Great pizza, pasta and apps. Ended up going twice we liked it so much. Definitely recommend.

What a fab place to eat! Sharon and Paul do a great job with unusual pizza toppings. My favourite was Black and Red, Goats cheese, Black pudding and Caramelized Onion. Views across the loch are all part of the experience too.

Great pizza! Unusual to see so much seafood on the menu, what a treat. Scallops, prawns and lobster were all absolutely delicious. Staff were friendly and the atmosphere was relaxed. Lots of people picking up takeaway pizzas. Recommended!

Gorgeous views of the beach. The food really surprised us as we were expecting a typical pizza place! We had the prawns and salt& pepper squid to start, and the scallop pizza and crab pizza for main. Thoroughly recommended!!!! The cocktails look great too!

Had the vegan pizza on the menu, it was delicious. I'm not sure I'd recommend the 15" oblong pizza as it's not even larger than the 12" round one. Vegan cheese available on any pizza and you can build your own pizza so very flexible for vegans. Chips are served in large portions and are fried in vegetable oil so suitable for vegans. I'd recommend asking for a table upstairs when you book.

Really nice and filling food. We all had there standard 12” Italian style crust pizza which was really good. They do some non-standard pizzas as well, I had a black pudding + goat cheese pizza and this was amazingly good. The Ambiente feels modern and warm, especially nice if You want a change from the classic Scottish ambient most pubs and restaurants go for in Islay.

We visited Peatzeria as part of a weekend on Islay and Jura. Sharon the manager was really friendly and accommodating when we asked to move our booking 2 hours to spend longer in the beach. This was not an issue despite it being a Saturday evening. The pizzas were absolutely amazing and service really good. We were lucky to have a seat outside, where you could imagine seeing seals and the likes popping up now and again. Plenty of outside seating too

Had a lovely time, even better food and superb service. Girls are lovely and super friendly. Highly recommended! Black and Red pizza is stunning and I don't even like black pudding.

Interesting place with Italian cuisine of pizzas and pastas. It is very upbeat for a town in Islay and had very hipster interiors. It is also one of the only places open after 3pm, we couldn’t find any inn that served food. The pizzas were very nice and we had a starter, two pizzas and a pasta to share among 5 people. The “Red&Black” pizza with goat cheese and black pudding was very interesting. The pasta with smoked haddock and crayfish is a must and it tastes very good.
