Sunday menu choices could do with changing for the summer. Not bad but not great.
A small group of us had a meal here last night. Food was lovely, great atmosphere and service. Our server was Jess who was super attentive and couldn’t do enough for us!
Used to go here years ago. Was lovely to go back. Late afternoon on a Thursday. Lovely and relaxed. Able to sit outstanding enjoy the weather and the comings and goings with a couple of cold ones.
Lovely pub with great food and friendly staff. Dog friendly area is a real bonus. Everyone is very welcoming, especially Lara on the bar.
Always great for a drink, especially in warm weather when you can sit outside. Food is good & staff are lovely. It’s a dog friendly bar and one part of the dining area is dog friendly too - need to mention if booking.
Had a delicious meal here on Friday night great atmosphere great service have been here few times over last month would highly recommend we be going again very soon
We hosted a christening here last weekend and the whole thing was brilliant from start to finish. The buffet was brilliant, the staff were extremely helpful and chipped in to help us set up. Everyone kept talking about how good the sausage rolls were. Thank you to Laura and Lara for your help in planning, Sam, Ryan and John for your service on the day and all the chefs for the fantastic food. Will highly recommend.
This was the first pub I ever drank in, some 50 years ago. It has retained all of its character. Fine view of the church.
From the moment we walked in with received a warm friendly welcome. Lovely atmosphere, nice decor and excellent service.
Food was excellent and will definitely be going again. In our top 5 for Sunday lunch.

The outdoor bit is so nice in summer, great choice of drinks etc and the food was actually very good for a pub, ordered the Korean chicken starter expecting a couple of overpriced, overcooked pieces of meat and it was quite large and surprisingly good!
The food was top quality and the service was even better. The staff couldn’t do enough for us.
Very quiet first visit and happy to go back if in area
Was recommended to go the from axe and cleaver who couldn’t serve us as they had a wake for 120 people
