A beautiful setting on the edge of a river. This building has thick stone white washed walls. Exhibiting many artists working in different mediums. The shop has a range of crafts books and prints. Upstairs there was a pop up cafe.
A short bus ride on the no.39 from Newton Abbot. House of marbles is nearby and also worth the visit.
They have workshops running for children too
This place is full of beautiful craft items, including cards, pottery, jewellery and sculptures.
We loved the metal hare (not for sale though) which was full of recognisable items (pliers, spanners etc) but created in such a clever and wonderful way.
There is plenty to see and there is something for all budgets.
There is usually a cafe upstairs, but this is currently closed.
Absolutely beautiful places with even more beautiful exhibits. Will definitely be back there!!!
Worth a visit. Bought some hand-made earrings as a gift for someone. Staff were informative and welcoming.
A really excellent showcase for local artists and artisan makers. Well worth a visit if you're in South Devon. Actually worth visiting. If you're anywhere in Devon! They showcase artists work on a regular basis which is great for both the artist and visitors.
£4.50 for my cream tea was good value and generous as well as tasty. We had a substandard cookie that we took back because it was not pleasant which was replaced without quibble.
Great atmosphere and lovely roof terrace if the weather is fine. Prompt service and friendly staff.
Lovely arts gallery right in the old River Mill next to the park in Bovey Tracey. All sorts of unique pieces mixed with some more traditional crafted arts. Lots of pricey gifts, jewelry, accessories, and art items, but a mix of some more affordable pieces as well.
Great shop and gallery - feels bigger inside than it looks on the outside. Nice little café upstairs too with an outdoor terrace (there is sitting inside too)
Great place to stop for lunch on your way through Dartmoor. Interesting crafts and gifts available in the shop, and some amazing artwork from local and regional artists.
Great, pity no art work ( paintings ) but pop up Fuelled by Caffeine excellent, sourdough toastie yum yum!
Lovely place, lots of different artists selling and displaying work, this was from a recent installation about the history of witchcraft, great cafe upstairs, friendly staff and easy access
A place to find the unusual made by local craftsmen, there are exhibition's at times and they get the children involved too. A cafe and toilets. Plus a chance to look around the town of Bovey Tracey.
A beautiful old building in a delightful setting by the river. The cafe is great, a log burner in the room makes it super cosy for cold winter days. I was really impressed with the fare, the hot chocolate was amazing and the cakes also exceeded expectations. So good that I forgot to take any pictures :)
We only looked around quickly. Late afternoon and they were getting ready to close. Very nice lovely items in there shop so a few pieces of furniture. Paintings pottery etc. Cafe closed too late for us. Worth a visit.
Beautiful little place. Have enjoyed coming here many times with my little ones. Tasty food and drinks, priced well for the quality.
Good facilities, has disabled toilets and lift for easy access to above level. Fantastic shop, suitable for all ages. Art corner for kids with an artistic hand.
Great place for those interested in arts and crafts with a good selection on show and of course for sale. Be warned that the attached gallery has some eye-watering price tags - not sure if a rush seat chair under any circumstances is worth £1000... But in the main shop prices are fairly reasonable for hand crafted items. Upstairs is a great cafe with really interesting and appealing food offerings and they have options to meet dietary preferences too.. Worth going for the cafe alone.
Great venue with an excellent selection of top grade handmade work from local craftspeople.
