A great pub with excellent service. We both had the roast turkey Sunday dinner and the meat was delicious. Plenty of gravy and the Yorkshire's were great! There's a nice garden out front to sit in along with a bar and restaurant area but we sat in the small garden area to the rear which was nice and peaceful by a pond! Plenty good portion size and beer choices can recommend Lilly's peach cider if it's on for a warm summer's day! Service was excellent they were super friendly with our dog. Treats and fusses were given and a special thanks to the lady who recommended a walk to a quieter area up the road so our spaniel could have a nice swim! Overall good quality pub food, good portions, friendly quick service and dog friendly!

The staff were lovely, the food was delicious. The breakfast was so good. I had poached eggs on sough dough with crispy smoked bacon. The cooked breakfast as my husband quoted was the best he's had. Well worth a visit.

We popped in for some lunch, and I couldn't fault it. They were quick to find a table to suit one of our party who was in a wheelchair. Top notch pub food (would wholeheartedly recommend the steak & ale pie), and all service was fantastic.

We popped in for an early lunch, which turned out to be a very good decision as it soon became very busy. Food was amazing, service was speedy and friendly. Bourton-on-water is one of the most idyllic places I've ever visited

Brill location and a lovely service. Just the sort of scene which someone would picture for the Cotswolds. It's very welcoming and airy. Sadly didn't try the food, but that's next on my list :) thanks for the friendly welcome guys.

Lovely meal in a beautiful location. Price was good for a good meal. Staff did all they could to ensure you enjoyed your meal. Bar felt a little short staffed though at times.

Great location, directly on the river and walking distance of the other amenities. Food was good and service punctual! Some servers seemed annoyed with us asking questions but interpretation can always be wrong! Overall a great place for a drink or meal!

Our family was driving from 'up north' to Somerset, and we had timed it so that we'd pass through the Cotswolds at dinner time. Despite not having a dinner reservation for anywhere, we tried The Old Manse. Thankfully, they were able to place us immediately. Because The Old Manse is part of the Greene King chain, we assumed that this would mean decent quality throughout. We were correct. I had Salmon Fishcake Florentine, just to be a little unusual(!), and it was quite pleasant. The Old Manse is ideally located right in the heart of Bourton-on-the-Water, which makes it a very attractive location for dinner and a quick walk around the river in the middle of town.

We had a lovely chilled afternoon here. We sat outside in the sun with a bottle of red and, once the sun set, went inside to eat and then home. The food was tasty, staff pleasant and helpful

Stayed here in February 2023 for two nights. Great central location to explore Bourton on the Water. Food in the restaurant was excellent. Worth booking ahead. Bar was good and had a variety of alcoholic drinks to choose from. Would recommend.
