Smalltalk Tearooms - Bourton-on-the-Water - Photo album

We came for afternoon tea in February, and were pleased with the good portions, flavours, and cost (as only £9 for two teas and a scone to share). Though it was busy, staff was kind and helpful, the atmosphere cosy.
Small talk yea rooms in Bourton on the water was a great place to visit during our break to the Cotswolds. The cream tea was a great price and the scone with clotted cream and jam was so so nice. Great location, friendly quick staff too. Would recommend
It was rather cute cafe. The staff was polite and welcomed us. The place inside is cosy and warm with old English architecture. Building itself has been kept in its original shape from outside. Limited seating and you’d be lucky if you get space at busy time. I don’t believe they have reservations.
This is a great place and well worth the wait. The cream tea was exceptional- great scones. We enjoyed the courtyard, but the inside was really cozy. It seemed like everything you order here would be good.
Not sure if ever been in a such intimate place before... just few tables and a lovelly room to have a bite or as is says a small talk :) love the name and it perfectly fit the tea room, elements and decorations. As was in a day trip I needed a quick lunch due to limited time bedore leaving location
Bourton on the water is a gorgeous part of the uk and it was a pleasure to find this gem nestled right in the heart of the town centre. We were seated in the compact cafe and greeted with a hearty welcome by the staff. They were very friendly and accommodated me in my request for an additional scon
What a lovely, quaint cafe to get savoury and sweet delights. We got a mac and cheese, and a mushroom cheese omelette and both were so delicious! Really hearty, homemade goodness. We had to rush because we had only an hour and had to go but how I wished we had more time to try the scones and have a
A lovely little tea shop. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was fresh and tasty.
THE best gluten free scones I've ever had! Visited 3 times in a week. We're going back this fall!
Very friendly staff. We shared a panini and a delicious cream scone and a lovely hot chocolate and pot of tea,
Wonderful host was charming and funny. Food was excellent. I had fluffy scrambled eggs. And it was an intimate courtyard, far from the madding crowd. Just what I needed.
There's a plethora of tea room choices in Bourton-on-the-Water and Smalltalk certainly compares well. It's a very traditional tea room with good service and a pretty enclosed courtyard. £5 for a cream tea with a tasty scone, jam, cream and plenty of tea.
We called for a cream tea after an absence of several years. How amazing to find the quality, service and ambience are still upheld to the full. We were former quite regulars and can fully recommend the tearoom as a memorable stop whilst exploring the lovely village
Had a lovely brunch this morning! Very quaint/cosy tea room, very friendly staff and lovely peacefu location. Had soup of the day with a cheese scone, which was delicious and my partner had a full English, which he enjoyed. Good quality local produce. Will return if visiting the area again
