Go for the Caesar salad - it was delicious! We had a lovely lunch outside by the river. Service was great and prices were pretty decent for the town. The potted crab and lasagna were also very good.

Really nice meal, portions were on the small side. We normally get really full, but we’re wanting more! Great fish, wine, dessert. Enjoyed the Black Forest cheesecake immensely! Very nice patio and great service! Very good sticky toffee pudding also!

Very good food and lovely place, especially if you can sit outside. The service was a bit lacking during their busy moments, though still worth going here as an option in the area.

Stopped off here on the way to Gloucestershire, was a wonderful sunny day, they're open for lunch until 3pm. We got there at 2.15pm, got a table inside, ordered the Gloucester Old Spot sausages and mash, which came with a large onion ring on top, very tasty. I ordered two starters - the ham hock terrine was very very good, definitely recommend. The salt and chilli squid really didn't work at all, didn't taste anything like its description, so big thumbs down. A nice place to eat, there's lots of eateries nearby and people eating outside. There's no parking you have to park on the main street. It's free for 90mins, but no return for 2 hours.

On a visit to Bourton on the water we wanted lunch and stumbled across this restaurant. What a lovely restaurant it was! Lots of seating in and outside. Light and airy with an art deco feel. Great variation on the lunch menu, including good wine and cocktail selection. Light lunches available plus more hearty dishes too! The food was amazing, very fresh and extremely tasty, the deserts were also beautiful. The staff were friendly and helpful. I'd definitely come back to this restaurant when back in the area.

First time here and we were pleasantly surprised. The staff were friendly and helpful. This is not a cheap place to eat but the quality of the food makes up for it. We would return if in the area.

We had a limited time to eat as we were part of a tour. This was the first restaurant we saw. The food was good. I just found the fish and chips a bit salty but otherwise it was delicious. The service was quick and the lady looking after us wad very friendly.

We have been travelling for 8 months around the world and Wow what an amazing little place ! The Food was amazing ! Best lamb shank I have ever had ! The vegetarian lasagna was better than any meat lasagna you will ever eat.. The staff (especially Ashley) was amazing and atmosphere was quaint. A must go too if visiting the Cotswolds

Lovely restaurant, very friendly and accommodating staff. One of our members has coelaic disease and they were very helpful with that. Perfect setting next to the river.

Met for lunch for a family birthday. We all had three courses and all the food was great. My favourite dish was the prawn cocktail starter. Good selection of drinks and coffee. Dog friendly. Service was a bit slow but when they did come they were friendly, and we were even serenaded with happy birthday!

Lamb shank looked very good. Steak and kidney pudding was a tasty, gargantuan affair! Cheesecake looked okay but rather average according to fellow diner (who's rather particular about this dessert!) We had three mains, two desserts and two starters. The garlic bread wasn't much to write home about. Menu items didn't appear particularly expensive but the bill for three amounted to a whopping £150. All the staff were very helpful.

Great food, good service. Gets busy. We tried to book, but was told to just turn up, so had to wait for a table.

Very busy and in demand restaurant with seating times. Great food and well worth it. The wait staff can be very young, so be patient! It's nice to see the view and enjoy the outdoor area. Dog friendly. Children friendly. The sink water in one of their bathrooms was EXTREMELY hot, so be careful!

A beautiful meal in a delightful setting. Good wine selection matched perfectly with our Crispy Ham Hock terrine entree (shared) and mains which were Mushroom and Leek Stroganoff and Steak Kidney and Mushroom Pie. Delicious!

Enjoyed lunch at an outside table. Service was prompt and with smiles all around. The food was excellent. The ambience on a sunny day was priceless. The Rhubarb Cider from the crafty pig cider house lived up to the server’s recommendation.
