The service here is fantastic, staff are so attentive and friendly. The food and drinks came out pretty quick, considering how busy they were and all tasted fresh and hot.
The staff explained all the dishes to us, as we had never had Sri Lankan food before, and it was all really tasty. Portions were generous, so we actually took loads of it home with us. I will definitely be coming back!
I had never had food from Sri Lanka before so was glad a friend recommended this place. The food was good but not amazing but that might have been our choices. I feel we need to go back and try some other dishes. The drinks were really nice snd the staff were very informative, attentive and helpful. A great location for eating and people-watching!
Nice authentic Sri Lankan cuisine tapas style. Nice ambience, good service, nice cocktails and overall a pretty classy place.
I wish I knew this place before. The food was just divine! Cocktails were lovely! Great atmosphere. The waiter asked her a few questions and she helped to build our menu as we didn’t know what to to order. Absolutely delicious!
First time having Sri Lankan food hence no comparison. To me, it's just South Indian dishes with additional flavour and another name.

Me and my boyfriend found this gem back in September and have been enjoying dinners here most weeks for the past few months. The food is always delicious and comes out super fresh and hot. The menu has changed a few times since we’ve started visiting, meaning the restaurant works with seasonal products and the chefs can really make simple vegan food work in their favour! Think pumpkin curry, pineapple curry, and even mango curry made with the whole fruit 😍
There’s also plenty of meaty options and the rotis are mouth watering, we can never get enough of them. 🤯
Lovely service and very kind and polite staff who really try their best to make your evening every time. They also play banging tunes🤭 🎶
Drinks are from another world, every single one we’ve tried has been a buzzing with flavours AND alcohol - never ever have they been watered down or weakened by too much mixer 🍹🍸
Absolutely delicious food! And the cocktails are so tasty and creative. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, explaining the menu and what we needed to know. It has a great relaxed atmosphere and isn't too loud, perfect for a chilled evening out.
People are really friendly, service, drink and food are literally perfect.
Especially Egg Hopper, I definitely recommend this dish to everyone.

The food is absolutely fabulous, top marks on presentation, top marks on the authenticity of the food, every dish was fresh, tasty and at the most perfect temperature, a tad spicy like I LOVE my food to be, really and truly it was a fabulous experience.
We had drinks and mains and sides and deserts and it came to £32 per person and for the amount of food we ordered it seemed very reasonable.
The waitresses were all sweet and kind however if there is only one criticism if you like, they kept on avoiding our gaze(s) (shame since we wanted to order more drink/ pay) I guess that's not critical to the operation of the business but it bothered us all (group of 5) and enough to list it in the review, so certainly something for the restaurant to work on but not something that will prevent me from going again, all in all, it's probably one of my new favourites, an absolute must go!

Update, after a recent visit on 26/7/23
So, I have been here another 5 times since my first visit/review, it would have been 6 but I failed to book on a busy night.
I love the way they tweak the menu every few months, the food has never disappointed nor the Virgin Mojito mocktail.
The vibe/atmosphere here is great too.
The staff are always polite, friendly and informative. Still a 10/10!!
On a positive note, I found a Coconut Tree closer to me in Cardiff, again fab food, but I frequent Bournemouth because of my business trips. Note to chain owner, Swansea should be your next stop if you branch out further west in Wales.. 😉

I can't recommend this place enough, a fantastic intro to Sri Lanken street food.
Food, drinks and service all 5 stars.
Huge veggie tapas style choice, and meat/fish options too.
I went for a 'I can't decide'. The server chose 4 veggie dishes, 2 of which I had my eye on, and they were all fantastic.
Parippu (Dhal), Cheesy Colombo, Egg Hopper and Veggie Kothu, washed down with a Passion Fruit Ice Tea.
Looking forward to returning on business and eating here again, however we need one of these restaurants in Swansea!!!
Really good cocktails, quick service and the best food we had was incredible and super authentic. Highly recommend for the bottomless brunch or an evening meal.
The meal was delicious I had the goat and chicken curries both were very tasty but very hot at a standard curry house I'd of said medium hot and hot respectively. But the favour is brilliant the service is wonderful. I will be returning.
Great cosy place with friendly staff. Great selection of drinks including some containing Arrack. Food had great flavours with authentic Sri Lankan spices and taste. The black pork curry and the Drunken Sri Lankan was a great combination.
Brilliant place. Food was tasty and flavoursome. Staff are helpful, fun and gave great advice on what meals to try. Good choice of meat and veggie dishes. Hope to see a branch open in London soon !
