We spent about 2 weeks between Portland and Bat Harbor, especially looking for places the locals love. We dined at the bar and learned several of the parties next to us come in every week for the dynamic menu and Renaissance cocktails. Everything utensils and bev send singular. Nothing rote or tired. Pros: lightly fried artichoke hearts. WOW! Lavender Gimlet, woohoo! Cons: hmmm. Only open 4 nights??

Everything was so good. We had three courses- the main courses were both so fresh and flavorful. My husband described the bruschetta as the best he’s ever had. Nonna’s olive oil cake was fantastic. We will be back, and often!

I had an extraordinary time when I visited this place with a close friend. The ambiance of the place exuded a welcoming and cozy atmosphere, making it an ideal destination for a delightful date. The customer service was exceptionally friendly, with our waiter offering helpful suggestions to guide our food preferences and choices. The food itself was remarkably delicious, leaving me eager to come back in the future! Overall, it was an outstanding experience, solidifying its position as one of my favorite restaurants in Brunswick!!! :)

Came here for cocktails & the kitchen was closed but they still had dessert. I really liked the build your own negroni! Get the olive oil/pistachio cake for dessert… it was unbelievably delicious!! Staff is super nice too.

We had a lovely time dining here last night. I was pleasantly surprised to get a same day reservation and we were asked if bar seating was ok. It turns out that was the best seat in the house thanks to Henry. It was fun to watch him create cocktails and he was so friendly. The food was delicious and the Alfredo was one of the best we have ever tried (and my boyfriend tries them all). I just realized that we dove into the Alfredo and I never got a picture). We didn’t have room for dessert but we plan to next time we visit!

You get what you pay for. In a world of cold, modern interior design and lack of good help, Enoteca is making it happen. First impression is warm and inviting. The historic building, tasteful and creative decoration, beautiful and well placed antiques and artifacts all come together for a soothing and relaxing experience.. The open kitchen is really neat. Nothing to hide as all the food is fresh and the quality of the food is obviously important here. If you are looking for a calm, uplifting dining experience, Enoteca seems perfect for a date night or special evening. Someone has gone above and beyond making this a charming place to dine.

We had such a wonderful meal here tonight! We sat at the high top at the window, really enjoyed the cosy atmosphere and the white lights and beautiful lighting throughout. Our server Jackson was great! Excellent recommendations, we had the bruschetta, stuffed mushrooms and mini gyros-everything was so delicious! Highly recommend and can’t wait to return! 😃

Tried the funghi dish a while ago and now I'm craving it on the regular. As always, Henry (bartender/owner) and Carla (owner) are the best!

Always high quality, delicious food. Rotating, seasonal menu and always sad to see favorites go, but excited to try something new and leave with a new favorite!

Absolutely incredible experience! Jackson provided us with some of the best service we have received in a while, huge shoutout to him. The pistachio cake was out of this world and they make some killer negronis. Also, really tasty mocktails as well! Thank you so much for a great evening.

My husband, our 1 year old son, and I went for an early dinner at Enoteca Athena this past Wednesday evening. We had been at the beach all day and our son had missed a nap. He is usually great at restaurants if we go early enough but I think the day’s activities had worn him out. He was playing it off well and acting like his usual self for the first 20 minutes or so. We got drinks and ordered our food. But then started the whining. Which soon escalated to all out tears. We attempted to placate him with a couple of toys we had brought, and even by putting his favorite show on one of our phones (on mute of course). It was no use. We were headed straight into wailing territory. We alerted our waitress (bummed I can’t remember her name, she was wonderful), and let her know we’d need everything to go. We had JUST received our appetizers. She was as gracious and understanding as could be as I whisked our screaming child outside so my husband could wait for the food and the bill. Hubby emerged from the restaurant a short while later (I think they even sped up the cooking of our order!) and let me know that someone - the waitress refused to tell him who - paid for our entire meal. I could be dead wrong, but something about it made me think it may have been the owner. Whoever it was, was probably just glad to get the screaming kid out of the joint! We took our food home, everything was ABSOLUTELY delicious, and we were oh so grateful to everyone at Enoteca Athena for treating us so well in a rather stressful and embarrassing situation. But I’m sure we’re not the first parents to go through this 🤣 We will most definitely be back!! And will get a babysitter next time 😅

Lovely small Italian Mediterranean Restaurant Eclectic small menu Nice wine and beer selection by the glass options. Appetizers were almost meal size. We shared Arancini stuffed w cheese and veggies as well mini gyros Would have been enough as dinner. Warm Broccoli Arrostiti was good, but could have been actually warm and needed a bit more dressing. Added eggplant slice was best part. Insalata Classico ordinary Chicken Marsala A plus Will return Excellent wait staff

One of the best fancy dinner options in town! Took my Gluten free/dairy free allergy seriously and served me safely. Great atmosphere, great food, and great staff!

Called for reservation & showed up a little early, little bit of a confusion at first but waited for a table, we sat in a nice spot, the food was the best, we asked for a few changes in our order and the chef pulled thru with a perfect meal, the server was extremely friendly and willing to go that extra mile to serve you & get you what you asked for. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place & definitely will be going back. Hats off to the chef and server
