Chris and I had our wedding reception here on 31st march and cannot thank Mick, Marianne, Jim, Mark and all the staff for making our evening run smoothly. The food was absolutely amazing. Quality buffet.
The staff couldn’t do enough for us. Would recommend this venue to anyone for a party.
Marianne was always happy to help or suggest ideas if needed.
Thank you once again and look forward to the Christmas Archery meal.

I had my 40th birthday party here a couple of weeks ago. It was an 80's themed fancy dress disco and it was an amazing night! After booking the room a few months ago through the very welcoming and helpful office staff at we were then recently put in touch with Mick who had just taken over the bar and catering at Chapel Gate. I was initially planning on doing my own food to keep costs down but after speaking and meeting with Mick he instantly made us feel at ease about paying for them to cater for us. They were happy to work to our budget and would cater for whatever we decided. All it took was a couple of days notice! We literally spoke on their first day working at Chapel Gate (the Monday), food order was completed on the Thursday and my party was on the Saturday � After some discussion we opted for a chicken curry spread. We really weren't disappointed! It was a fab, tasty curry with all the extra bits on the side. Rice, chips, naans, popadoms, chutneys etc. Everyone was full and enjoyed the food. Mick was there to oversee our setup of the room and made sure we were happy with everything. Nothing was too much trouble. From making room for our photo booth and dj to helping us upload our own photo montage on the tv, nothing was overlooked or made to be a problem. The bar staff were all very nice and helped us out a lot. Even with the cake knife and candles that we had forgotten to bring! It was a fantastic night and I am so pleased we made contact with Mick. Would definitely recommend and book again! If only I could have my party again!
Friendly bar staff and amazing atmosphere at sporting events. They support the teams at Chapel Gate no end and can’t be thanked enough!

Bournemouth Archery club was great, helped set up some recurve bow for an induction course for beginners On friday night for Saturday morning.
Great site, amazing facilities. Lots of opportunities to play dozens of sports at all levels from youth to professional. Squash, rugby, archery, cricket, football and the gun club were just a few we saw. There's also a nursery onsite and bar/restaurant which we use on game days and it's available to hire I believe.
I love it .it's beautiful,lots of sports games taking place like football,rugby,cricket etc.we go there every Friday for kids football coaching BRS

Bournemouth 7s festival stands out as one of the most entertaining and unique festivals in the UK. Who thought drinking all night and playing rugby the next day was a good idea!? Turns out it is!
We done 'it's a knockout' here and had the best time! The activities were fun,.we laughed so much. Defo recconmend this
Fantastic venue for my husband's 40th. Very good price. Very accommodating with all our needs, happy for us to decorate as we wished and they cleared up after which was fab. Food was brilliant, will defiantly use venue again.
Visited for the first time for their Halloween fireworks and funfair event which was probably one of, if not the he best display I've seen in a very long time. They have several very well looked after football /rugby pitches, a very nice club room with pool and football tables for the kids, big and small (no ageism here). There is also which looks fairly new but that might just be the buildings, is a race track. Very friendly staff as well made our visit an excellent one.
We had a 40th birthday party in the garden room. I've arranged many parties in various venues in bournemouth and Christchurch and this is by far the best venue for a party. The room was perfect, with the added bonus of a garden space. Food was fantastic, and I can't say enough about how great the staff were. They truly went above and beyond to make it a fantastic night.
I go air rifle target shooting in the indoor firing range at Chapel Gate , there is plenty of parking and a restaurant, football and hockey pitches, a very enjoyable place to be.
A huge sports complex with plenty of parking on site. They have a nice bar, with some good choices to choose from. They serve food and coffee as well.
Facilities have been improved considerable, new hockey pitch and car park not paved over
This is a great place. Good facilities and friendly service. SUBB Jazz Club every Wednesday is particularly worth attending.
