A wonderful way to spend an evening. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and offered to let us try samples before choosing. They have an abundance of different flavours which are all delicious! The ambience is nice with low volume music playing in the background and comfortable seating in booths. A great venue to enjoy dessert!
Nice simple ice cream parlour……reasonably priced. Scoop of delicious chocolate ice cream and a single expresso for under £5.
We visited here on a Friday around 6pm. It wasn't too busy and everything was setup spaced out for social distancing. Staff were friendly and the food good.
Only issue is that the physical menus provided are in a sorry state, looking like they haven't been replaced for quite a while, and no idea if they are disinfected at all (there is hand sanitizer there however). And while there is a QR code on the table to view a menu on their website, that one isn't complete and even says to view the menu in store for full range, so isn't too helpful.
ive been coming here for years and trust me they are so amazing, all the ingredients are so delicious and i love the chocolate its so MMM, i will always reccomend to have ice cream with the pancake because its delicious, the milkshake is really good i love the strawberries and cream, basically everything here is delicious. and to be honest if you go there the portions are larger in the place than at delivery (?) and your food comes fast. overall amazing
The desserts are great, a nice change when eating out. They only had one staff member making the desserts and running the shop at the same time, so could do with more staff to assist. Have been a few times over the years since they opened and they always used to have many staff on hand.
The ice cream was good, a bit expensive but I guess it's the same price all around. I give 4 stars and not 5 stars because the service was incredible slow and when asking for two parfums the guy was pissed because we didn't say that we want two scoops even if we did ask for the two together - that was probably a misunderstanding but he was impolite with us. Other than that, everything good.
Absolutely love this little restaurant! My mom and I go here for a sweet treat whenever we can, as she works at the university nearby, and we sit in the booth by the window. My regular order is the Strawberry Delight waffle! Slightly crisp around the edges, soft and fluffy in the middle, with fresh fruit every time. The coffee is great too, and I love the American diner style decor. I also appreciate the music channel playing on the TV so we can watch the videos when good songs come on. Staff are friendly too and treat pets well (providing a bowl of water to dogs with their owners sitting by the outside tables). Overall a wonderful place to visit for something yummy!
THE ice-cream parlour in Bournemouth. However, you can also enjoy a wide selection of hot drinks: coffee, latte, mocha, hot chocolate and teas which you can accompany with cakes or waffles. Yum! 😋
This is the best cafe or ice cream shop ever I tried both delivery and going into the cafe and both were breathtaking amaizing the best costomer service and the manegers are very nice and welcoming. Definatly better than scoops, shakeaway and creams cafe bornmouth there are mouth watering flouvors of ice cream and suculent waffels and milkshakes many of my friends that went their told me about this place because I tried all the ice cream shops in bornmouth and so this was the last one to try the others i did not like much but this place is amazing with freash moist cakes that are absolutly delicious it is very close to the beach and has a very nice view of the city center the place is very higenic and even has tv's the cheapest icecream shop in bornmouth. Dont walk to sprinkles run their, onece you get there you will be thanking me and this is a very honest review . Also they have free samples so you know which icecream is best for you.
I was astonished at how large this dish was for its price, having come from London I'd expect to get half this serving for the same price and quality. One was enough for sharing after a meal, service was fast and friendly and everything was freshly made. This would have been after a busy hot bankholiday weekend too.
I've read through a few of the lower rated reviews and not seen much for the average customer to have issue with, might be best to avoid peak hours if possible, was quite a relaxing experience going there for an evening desert. This place does well to compete with its much larger chain competitors.
