Service is EXTREMELY friendly and the food is of great quality. Haddock was pristine - cooked to perfection with just enough batter.
The Chips 🍟 a little bit too soft, hence the 4 stars. Other than that I have no complaints.
Also it was nice to see that they have a fried Mars and snickers bar on off
Great first order from here. The man specially made me chicken in black pepper sauce and it was yummy and so were the cheesy chips. Thank you! Only negative is - not enough cheese to cover the chips. Not even half of them were cheesy. I do hope the quality of the food is the same each time we order.
We went to this place because I saw the reviews. You can find traditional fish and chips and Chinese options. My husband ate fish and I ate Chinese. Just walked in and the service is ace. 5 stars just for that alone. Decent service is in short supply these days. I'm sure the food will love up to it's rating as well because it's being cooked fresh. Yum.
Tried this last week and it was soooooo delicious. We had cod and chips and s & k pie and chips large battered sausage and a savoloy and all of it was fresh non greasy and tasty. Just about to order tonight's tea now.
Bit strange having a Chinese and a chippy in one but both menus are honest and decent and very yummy 😋 prices are fair and the staff are friendly. I recommend the deep fried Mars bar always wanted one and this is the 1st place I've come across that does them. Mmmmmmmmm
We have an alright fish and chips around the corner from our house but still choose to drive a couple of miles to Alma. I haven't tried the Chinese foods but fish, sausages, fritters, pies and the normal fish and chip shop food is excellent.
Best chippy and best chinese in Cournemouth. Massive portions at great prices. The owner is a top bloke. Would hire him as my personal chef if I had the money.
A consistent quality of fish'n'chips each time we go there, AND one of the few places that does Saveloy sausages, which our daughter loves 🙂👍
