Have recently moved to the area with my little boy and stumbled across Idah’s on a walk.
The staff are so friendly and took the time to speak to me about opening times and when best to come during their opening hours!
Not to mention the selection is amazing and taste delicious!

Great bakery and great staff especially Sam and the lady in the store even agreed to deliver my products on her way home to my hotel as I couldn’t get to the bakery in time before they close at 2pm. I will be a regular customer from now on everytime I’m in Bournemouth or boscombe !

Visited this morning (01/07) and ordered 25 various cakes, although we should have pre-ordered (error on our behalf) they were very accommodating with our request. We now have 25 extremely happy members of staff who have all said the cakes were outstanding. Thanks for all your help.
WARNING - THE CAKES ARE TOO GOOD! - I have never had a duff one, they are delicious, all freshly made and so tasty! the sandwiches are well filled and the staff are great. I really like this place and when I am close by, will pop in and grab something from here for lunch. Thankfully I now work away

Idah's isn't just a patisserie it's an institution, at least among local tradesmen. In addition to an array of fresh cakes and doughnuts they are easily the best sandwich shop in town offering a selection of classic fillings such as lamb & mint (my favourite), chinese chicken, hot bacon & sausage,
I am not normally a massive fan of pastries, but they do a pastry item with bacon and another with sausage which are absolutely sensational. I think they have some pesto or something in with the bacon etc. We had to go back a second time!!
The cakes etc were also lovely.
Excellent place, doughnuts to die for, superb sandwiches & rolls, pastries. The boss is fabulously BOSSY! And drives much too fast amid pedestrians, but the shop is fine.
When I'm in Bournemouth i always head for Idah's for a fresh roll & a cake or two, not forgetting a pastie. Always friendly staff totally recommend.
Good food, selection of fresh cakes, buns and made to order sandwiches. Great value, friendly team and can't fault the food!
Got one of the best pizzas ever from Idahs the other day will make a point of shopping here. Bake most of their bread and pastry in house. Top quality - recommend
The best ever bakery, with fantastic bread, savouries, and cakes. Also a fresh sandwich & roll maker. Only open Monday to Friday but so worth the wait!!
