Very popular cafe located on the high street - loads of seating inside - in what is a very comfortable environment inside.
Good quality food - it’s the perfect location for breakfast.
The coffee is good. Clean. Staff are nice too, especially the two guys and the one with blonde hair remembered our usual order! However, the sandwiches/wraps are not that good... There's hardly any filling inside and too expensive for what it is.

First time I've visited here, great coffee and food, very pleasant atmosphere, you feel you can actually relax and enjoy the coffee. Large interior and plenty of seating/tables, there's a large stocked bookcase divider and even crayons etc for children. Obviously very popular, hard working staff that are friendly and helpful. The toilets are spotless (well done). I look forward to my next visit. In a word---Excellent.
The Mocha's are awesome but what makes this coffee shop superb is the team, in this particular branch. The past 3 days I have been visiting this coffee shop and the staff have been fantastic, even when it was super hot and busy will make, they made the effort to genuinely greet me and make me feel welcome. I am a coffee addict, and let's just say, this is my new Costa. Only feedback I would suggest is maybe provide the stuff with a industrial fan to keep them cool, it was very hot waiting for my drink to be made, and they must be hotter with the steam. It's really nice and icey chilled in the seating areas.
lovely experience and really good food and drinks. staff was lovely too, especially the two people working when I visited. the girl with the browny red hair was so polite!
Friendly staff, however they had issues recently with a broken coffee machine which wasn't fixed for 4 days and they couldn't offer a hot coffee. And at least 5 times I didn't get any cream on the cold frappe which was disappointing.
Really chilled place to meet up and chat. I have used Coffee#1 for work, too, just an amazing place to go

A very homey, rustic café. A bit busy, but the baristas were quick to serve. If you're coming here to work, bring your own WiFi because the one here doesn't work or barely works. The food, drinks and atmosphere is excellent; a perfect place to meet up with friends or family.
Great place to sit down and feel the coffee shop vibes and culture, blah blah blah very comfortable coffee is also great, get the caramel latte and piece of cake.
Coffee is one of the best, their own brand. Smooth and like silk the coffee. I rarely praise at 5.
The most time I am very happy with the food, drinks and service but this is mostly when the manager is in. As it seems, the baristas delivery better service and take more care and listen to your order then.
When the manager isn't in, it happens that they don't give me the extra butter and jam I order with a scon or tea cake or they forget to give me the teacake at all. It also happened to other food or don't serve one drink I always order as I asked for.
The environment is usually clean, also the toilets. Atmosphere is good.
First time here. Had carrot cake and a tea was very tasty and plenty of choice.
Comfy atmosphere. Just needed tables cleared away. But with short staffing in places understandable.
If you fancy a beverage of some sort or maybe a bite to eat to go with that luscious coffee? Then this is the place! somewhere to go after a stressful day in the life as we all deal with, or a day of shopping? Whatever it is, I love to come to coffee#1 it's a chilled environment, to relax for a bit, it has a homely vibe it's a calming environment to go chat with friends or on your own it can get busy at peak times so be prepared to queue or it maybe difficult to get a seat so pick your times right! Although it can get busy it's never loud or off-putting to the point of not being able to concentrate or hear your think, there are a few seating areas outside so if you're ok sitting outside (weather permitted) & you don't mind watching the world go by then enjoy the outdoor atmosphere pricing is standard what you would pay for a beverage so bare in mind if you've got a budget, For those who have a on the go lifestyle at least you can grab yourself on the go coffee (or whatever)
