My partner booked this for my birthday meal and I can easily say it was the best Chinese food we have ever eaten. The prices reflected the quality of food and exceptional service we received. The portions were of a good size. Decor was beautiful. We would recommend anyone visiting Bournemouth to visit this restaurant.
Amazing food, every dish we ordered exceeded expectations.
They also accommodated to our halal diet on request (frying seperately).
I recommend the salt and pepper prawns, spring rolls and prawn curry.
Superb service by Cosmin who was super friendly
Absolutely STUNNING food.
The slow cooked Pork belly especially was one of the most delicious meals I've had in a very very long time.
Sadly VERY LOUD, which the restaurant can not control but a large nearby (celebrating) group were SO LOUD, my table couldn't speak to one another as we couldn't hear anything we were saying over the screaming table nearby.
Restaurant has really nice unique vibe. It's pricey but portions are big enough and food quality is outstanding
I could have given 5 stars, but I think it's over priced, that's the reason why a 4 stars.
It's a beautiful restaurant, friendly staff and really good atmosphere.
Be aware they will service charge you. But it's an option if you would like to pay for it. I haven't paid for but I have left a tip for the staff.
If you would like to try this restaurant, go during lunch as they do a lunch menu which is more affordable.
Bear in mind the portions are not big.
The best Chinese restaurant me and my wife have ever been to (and we go to alot).
Food quality was exceptional, Michelin star quality for taste and flavour, very nice presentation too.
Accommodated two of us and our 8 month old baby, even bought a child seat out for us.
I had the handmade vegetable spring rolls for starter and seafood in truffle sauce for main.
Good selection of drinks to go with the meal. The prices are quite high but expected as they match the quality of food.
The Dim sum and cocktails we ordered were excellent. Had the Mongolian lamb for main which was okay but not mind blowing considering how much you get for the price. Same to be said for the noodles. Was literally just a bowl of noodles. Considering the price we would have expected something far more interesting/different.
Overall, it's a nice restaurant with a lovely atmosphere, but not likely to return as it is slightly overpriced and not really offering anything that different.
Great place and very fresh, tasty, food at reasonable prices - £18 for a lunch menu starter, main and side. Why 4 stars when everything else is a 5? Alcohol a bit steep at £6 a bottle for a 330ml Tsingtao, who isn't expensive these days, though soon adds a fair chunk on the bill when you each have two, and a sneaky automatic 10% service charge don't remember seeing on the menu anywhere?! Really enjoyed though, would recommend and would return again as the food was really really good.
Pricey, but well worth it. Best Chinese food I have ever had.
Very clean and quality service.
This is our first time visit 1805. I have my brother comes from London and Sister comes from Devon. The lady at the reception are super friendly, she gave us a nice table and helped us with the order. The foods are amazing. We will definitely visit again.
Great Chinese food. Ordered crab meat sweet corn soup, crispy roast duck dumplings, BBQ pork & mixed fried rice. Added beef noodles later. All dishes were excellent, by distinct flavor, sweet sauces and presentation. After doing Durdle Door and Lullworth by day, this hit the spot.
I was just going out for a simple meal. It turned out to be the best Chinese restaurant I'd ever been to. It was better than swanky restaurants in Hong Kong and London. The cost was very reasonable and the food was fresh and really excellent.
It is immaculate, stylish and modern. The staff were professional and very friendly.
I was very impressed by this gem of a restaurant. We had made a reservation, and was immediately taken to hand sanitisation point and guided by a one way system to our table which was socially distanced.
The food was fantastic, everything was flavourful and non greasy. And the portions were plentiful.
The staff were amazing, very attentive and made sure that we didn't go without anything
I'm so glad that we found this restaurant whilst in Bournemouth for a few days. And would definitely visit again if I was in the area again.
It’s a very nice venue. A little pricey but the food was delicious.
Really nice food, good service, although a little pricey
We came back second time
It’s still good and consistent
Funky modern young well decorated lively Chinese restaurant
Great food quality
It leans towards the low salt low MSG low oil style or say the Hong Kong style
Great variety of food choice and dim sum choice
Service is very reasonable
Price is on the high side relative to most traditional Chinese dim sum restaurants
Can be a high as double
Anyway that’s the value to have dim sum in a funky seaside town
What an amazing venue. The layout is really good and decor really makes the place. Must see resturant. The food variety is really good and tastes great. We had a wonderful evening and really enjoyed ourselves. Would definitely come back here again. @Saffa_foodie
