So glad I found this lovely restaurant in amongst the high street chains in Bournmouth. I stopped off for breakfast which was fantastic but the lunch menu looked just as good. Friendly & profrssional staff looked after me and I was surprised the prices were so reasonable - felt like a five star expe

Food was delicious, cocktails were great, and the atmosphere was nice, but the staff didn't speak very good English, and they were somewhat rude to our large party. However, they did take a booking for 13 on a Saturday night, so that was a plus. Also, the prices are pretty good for such nice food. T

It has never disappointed me. Food is nice and cooked from fresh.

Arrived here at 8pm on a Saturday night, we were seated immediately which we were pleased with as we'd tried a different restaurant before and were told there'd be a 30 minute wait, and expected the Alcatraz to be even busier.

Great food - was worth paying the price for it! Went on a Monday evening about 7 had the whole restaurant to ourselves. Staff were amazing. Only down side was the music was a little loud.
Good quality and range of Italian food. Nice clean restaurant with friendly and helpful staff. Prices are a LITTLE bit expensive but I've always found them to be in line with the old adage of "you get what you pay for".
The random jalapeno on my burger was a downer but the Italian theme is comforting, great service, and the food overall was good! Could work on a livier atmosphere however perfect for a quiet dinner.

The food is beautiful and the staff very professional and friendly. Highly recommend it. The wine is quite pricey but worth the money, dont be put off.
