I've never been to Harry Ramsdens before and I don't normally write reviews but I have to say this place was great. The food was excellent value for money, our teenage girls went on for the free refill of chips, the staff were very helpful and friendly. I was even able to get something which wasn't on the menu. The restaurant was clean and modern.

Wish we had booked as we had quite a wait to be seated. It was well worth the wait, the food was excellent and the staff were very pleasant. I have been here before and it has always been good value and excellent food.

Located near the east side of Bournemouth pier, their claim of selling the worlds best fish in chips is true. The fish piece is huge, tasty and filling in itself. The fries are also thick pieces and well done however without any salt. In case you love salt in your fries pls tell them when you place your order. The best part of this restaurant is that it's located right outside the beach and you can carry your box of fish n chips and have it in the beach side.

It is great fish and chips no doubt, but I think it is quite expensive, this should be the cheapest food in the UK, it cost me 15£ that is not normal. The place is wonderful right on the beach and there are a lot of activities there. The tartar sauce is the best, highly recommended.

I had an amazing experience at this seaside restaurant. The fish and chips were not only incredibly fresh but also perfectly crispy. The breathtaking ocean view made the meal even more enjoyable. Highly recommended.

It's in a great location overlooking the pier and the beach... The interior is lovely really bright and spacious, loved the stained glass windows. There is an outside seating area which was closed but this looked like a really nice place to eat We went for the set meal... Fish, chips and a choice of sides with bread and butter and a hot drink for £12.99 It was really delicious... Loved watching the world go by

The food was fantastic! Service was prompt! Atmosphere was cool and the music was soft, just perfect for a hot summer day. (My only issue was the toilet which doubles as a storage room)

Had an amazing afternoon tea experience here. Wasn't sure what we would get but expectations were exceeded, especially when some desserts were unexpectedly brought out! (Battered banana & bread n butter pudding). All food really tasty, great service on a very busy day. Couldn't fault it. Thank you!

First meal in Bournemouth. I've always wanted to try there fish and chips as I have seen this in vlogs and so glad we did. There fish and chips tasted great! And also the loaded fries and the chocolate milk shake. Servuce was great and the location is very convenient as it is right in the beach. They have aircondition on when we went here which is a great and plus there restroom amis huge and clean. Price was it is reasonable. Also I have to mention that there is 2 Harry Ramsden here. The one on top looks like more of a casual type and the one on the ground floor is an American Style Diner which were we ate. According to the staff, the fish and chipa in both restaurant are the same. There is a takeaway part beside the diner too.

Way better than I was expecting. Well prices considering other fish & chip outlets around the seafront, good portion size, the fish was fresh and well cooked. They purposely don't season things so you can add it to your own desire (which I feel is better). Staff were friendly and accommodating, the whole place was immaculately clean and well look after. I look forward to my next visit.

Had a fantastic Saturday lunch. Arrived at 12.30 (March), no booking, lots of seating. Advised to order at the bar or the app - warning that starters and mains come together - if you want a starter and a main just order starters on the app, set up the main order and check it out when the starters arrives. We just ordered fish and chips main. The menu says it comes with mushy peas, but on the app, you can choose from a list of sides, so we had curry sauce - the photo shows the regular size portion we had. It was incredibly well cooked and so tasty. To drink we ordered pots of tea, which came out shortly before the main. I was really impressed that the pots were pre-warmed, so the tea stayed hot in there for the whole meal - we got 3 cups of tea from each pot. Notably, it's a young staff and they were a real credit to Harry Ramsden's - exceptionally hard working, polite, smiling and helpful. Finally, I have to mention what a beautiful building it was, very Victorian feeling with the coloured glass, parlour palms, and the view over to the sea and the pier. Tables were swiftly cleared and cleaned, and the toilet facilities were spotless. I'd highly recommend it and would happily eat there again.

Great fish and chips, quite a wait time seemed to keep running out but due to location imagine they are quite busy. The order was not correct but upon return to the shop the staff were happy to correct the mistake. Price point was to be expected for location but good portion size. After returning home we realised even after our return we still didn't get the 2 bread rolls orders. Make sure you check your order before leaving!!!

Visited Harry Ramsden Bournemouth as a party of 5. We were delighted with the service we received from the team, especially Jaskaran, even though the kitchen was closing, we received a very warm welcome, and checks to make sure everything was good. Due to Jaskaran awesome hospitality and the amazing food, we came back on the following day for lunch, again everything was amazing. Thank you so much Ramsdens for making our holiday experience awesome. 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟

Great fish and chips , no grey bits or skin . Made to how you want it . I had batter my partner had poached. Service was good though a bit slow . Clean tables , lots of sauces available . Drinks a bit overpriced .

Got 2x portions of cod bites and chips last night via the takeaway section of Harry Ramsden’s. Easy to use self service machines, however you still have the option of ordering via the till. Nice size portion and plenty of vinegar/ salt sachets given in the bag. Quite pricey at £26 - but I guess you are paying for the location and brand.

This lives up to the hype! Potatoes are definitely sourced well according to seasons. Beautifully fried. The Cod was the star. Crispy on the outside and super soft inside. These are definitely quality sourced ingredients. Portion size might look small but it's the perfect amount for the quality. What the customer doesnt understand is that quality ingredients=pricey. They could easily put a bigger portion but are you willing to pay double the price? I paid a tenner for cod bites and large chips. That's actually cheap! This should easily be £15. And finally the packaging is awesome. I kept seeing people with the bags, it's attractive and enticing. Well done guys.

We have visited both the takeaway and restaurant of Harry Ramsden's Bournemouth, both have left us feeling satisfied. On our visit to the restaurant, the cod and chips were very good. It's a bit pricey but you're paying for quality. The staff were very friendly. We would definitely consider returning in the future.
