We visited for lunch yesterday.... it was wonderful! The roast was the best roast I had ever had, so much variety on the plate and the cauliflower cheese was amazing �definitely recommend a visit!
Absolutely fantastic time yesterday, the entertainment was top class, great vibe all round and let's not forget the friendly and attentive staff and chefs working so hard! You have a great business model that appeals to all ages, don't change please!!!

What a great place. Very efficient and friendly staff, great selection of beers, and Gary the DJ plays top tunes including a spattering of Northern Soul. It has a really good vibe and everybody is friendly.
We were there to play live music. It was our first time playing here. What a fantastic venue. Lovely, friendly atmosphere with very attentive staff. The food looked fab and all the customers seemed to be enjoying themselves.

Always love this place and have developed a need for the nachos. Took someone there last night who hadn't been before and the steak n ribs truly impressed this lover of decent meat. We'll be back very soon.
Had a take away from you guys Sunday night. Best take away I have ever had (and I have had a few) 🍔🍔(burger, fries and mac and cheese) turned up piping hot and was completely delicious. So good had to order again last night. Damn you! 😂
First visit tonight. The three of us had a delicious Buffalo chicken burger and sweet potato chips. Atmosphere and service was excellent. The male staff were very pleasing on the eye �

Just had a lovely meal for my partners birthday. We've been here numerous times before but the service tonight really stood out. Our waitress Estelle was an absolute star and was so attentive to our needs. She is a credit to the restaurant

I recently visited a fantastic bar for food, and I must say it exceeded my expectations! The ambiance was inviting and lively, perfect for a casual evening with friends or a relaxing night out. The menu featured a delightful array of dishes, ranging from mouthwatering appetizers to hearty mains. I particularly enjoyed their signature cocktails, expertly crafted to complement the flavors of the food. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable, making excellent recommendations. Overall, this bar is a must-visit for anyone who appreciates delicious food and a great atmosphere!

My fiancée and I have become occasional regulars here.
The place has a great almost ski-lodge like cosy and relaxed ambiance. It’s like a unique hybrid between a lodge, a diner and a pub. It’s really spacious as well, and they haven’t packed in the tables tightly at all. As someone with generalised anxiety I always feel very relaxed and at home here.
You can see there’s a good mix of regulars and otherwise that attend, and there’s often a dog or two chilling by the bar as well, so I assume it’s dog friendly (for the good boys and good girls at least).
I like the choice in background music as well (good mix of post 90’s alternative, rap, pop and indie). They’ve done it up really well with Halloween decor at the moment. And otherwise they’ve got some fun tongue-in cheek decor around the place, a saw with “chav control” written on it hangs behind the bar. And on that note they have a policy of no casual sportswear or workwear in there either, so you can see how the relaxed and fun atmosphere is not pure happenstance.
The service is relaxed but in a good way, you get the vibe the workers enjoy working there as they’re always friendly in a very genuine way and never act like anything is too much trouble. Although to be fair we always attend at non-peak hours so I can only speak for what I’ve experienced.
The food is great, ordering the nachos as a sharer is excellent value as are the wraps from the lunch menu. The Cheeseburgers I’d rate an 8/10. The sides like the onion rings are very generous portions too. Also there are great deals to be had Monday - Thursday (particularly Tuesday & Wednesday!) after 5pm.
I’m tee-total so I love that they’ve got a decent selection of non-alcoholic beers on the menu. I wish more places would follow suit! Pepsi Max on tap (by the pint or otherwise) or Coke and lots of other soft drinks by the bottle (I think). They have a selection of drinks that’ll rival anywhere and I appreciate that for sure!
Food is delicious as always, they did get our order wrong twice even though we pre ordered as there was a big group but they were very apologetic and offered us a free drink while they made the right meal. Good atmosphere and good value for money, would defo recommend going during happy hour as it saves you alot of penny’s
Met some lovely people in here. And lovely garden on the back which keeps you dry even if pouring rain.. Looking forward to try their food next time when we visit. So visited second time, had a nice time. Food was pretty decent.
Good burgers, but way too much salt on the chips. Burger Wednesday is a good shout.
Excellent evening spent. They were busy but no one left unattended. Great food. Excellent manager. Good atmosphere. Would definitely make my regular if I lived closer. Well worth a visit.
We were so happy they were able to squeeze us in, stupidly hadn’t booked anything and tried 3 other places.
They were also busy but made room for us and the service was amazing and the food even better.
Loved the decor and atmosphere, we were served by a lovely young lady and it was her first shift but she was great and did everything right. The whole team were very welcoming and helpful and the food came surprisingly quick but was delightful. Good portion sizes, very tasty and fairly priced.
Shame it’s so far from where I live or I would frequent here for sure.

Food: Modern menu with options for most tastes. The food looked appealing and was really tasty.
COVID: cleaning evident and hand wash stations located all around inside. Staff no longer wearing masks.
Overall: I would come back here. Lost a point as outside area was no very appealing to sit in for longer periods.
Had a wonderful evening Friday 18th August. From the minute arrived with friends took to our table. Attentive staff, delicious food and service, staff taking time to speak to us, great music and atmosphere. Definitely visit again. Thank you Duck x
