Second time to montys and have to say did not disappoint. I am a huge fan of burgers and try any new place out. For me, montys is the number 1 in Bournemouth for quality and flavour. The sides were spot on and great service to match. The prices are very reasonable too which makes it even better. Burgers cooked to medium on our visit the quality of the meat stands out. The burgers are served with the right amount of toppings which compliments the burger rather than overwhelm it. You struggle to find a burger restaurant in Bournemouth that matches this place on all fronts .
Visited Monty's for a friends birthday on a Saturday night. We arrived at 7:30pm and they had already reserved our table (it was booked for 8pm) and kindly let us decorate (make a mess on) the table.
The staff were so friendly and welcoming and the restaurant had a lovely relaxed atmosphere.Good range of drinks available and a good sized food menu on offer. The staff let my friend and me try three different wines before committing to one bottle! Everyone on my table really enjoyed their food.The staff were kind enough to let us bring our own cake in for pudding and they even sang Happy Birthday to my friend too!

The best burger I’ve ever had! Montys burgers are amazing, I’ve been in for a burger and drinks quite a few times and the food never fails. The service is excellent, friendly and quick. �
The mac n cheese burger I had was amazing, just a shame chips doesn't come along with the burger but highly recommend Montys though :)

Monty's lounge is a hidden treasure of Bournemouth. Great vibe, quality music and the most mouthwatering burgers you could ever wish for. Staff were friendly and happy. Would definitely recommend to anyone passing through Bournemouth. You can't go wrong with Monty's
Incredible service from start to finish. Emailed to enquire about booking a large table, absolutely no trouble at all, quick and friendly responses, and all arranged hassle free. The evening itself was perfect, all food out in good time, very attentive waitress, delicious burgers and exceptionally reasonable bill at the end!! We will most definitely be back!
I'm not a burger fan but their burgers are the best!! I've never tasted a burger so scrumptious. Even those Freaky Shakes are amazing...

Great burgers ( none of us had any gristle) friendly staff, offered samples of things people weren’t sure about & for me, icing on the cake was Estrella on tap. What’s more, I didn’t come out of the restaurant with my clothes smelling like I’d cooked the burger myself ( sorry 7 Bone, this is your downfall )! Montys gets a � from our family, thanks guys

First time to Monty's for a friends b'day and I had the best burger ever. I'm not usually a fan of burgers but Monty's has changed my mind and there will more visits for sure. Staff we great too :-)
Amazing food in a lovely chilled atmosphere! Burgers were spot on, love that they will cook beef burgers medium as standard. I had Italian stallion and probably the best burger I've had - beautifully delicious and filling, but not so much you felt sick and uncomfortable! Chose the maple bacon sweet potato fries and they were the BEST thing! � we topped it off with the Nutella special freakshake which was amazing, but glad we shared!! Nice chilled vibe, staff weren't pushy or rushed and were very attentive. Overall 10/10, want to go back again to try everything else!

Monty's Lounge has been one of my favourite burger shacks in a long old time! The waitress was very personable friendly and an absolute star and making sure we had what we wanted and incredibly attentive!
The booking I made online the day before was brilliant, nice and easy to process.
The burgers where very reasonably priced, and by jove they where incredible! They looked amazing from starters to mains all the way through to desserts, however we did not make it that far!
The meat was cooked to perfection and the quality not beef was astounding, really well seasoned and the toppings on the Hangover and the Full Monty where incredible!
Starters where insane as well, who'd have thought that tater tots and pulled pork would go so well! As well as bacon and maple syrup on sweet potato fries? Ugh! Godly!
Over all review, Monty's did not disappoint the hype was real and worth every penny, highly recommend you cost and have your self the hangover even if your not hung over!

I visited Monty's on Tuesday 25 June 2019 at 7.30pm, a weekday during term time. I was with three other people. This was my third visit.
I parked in the road opposite the restaurant - there are several parking bays which you have to pay to use - you can pay using an app or by phone, by card or using cash. It was £1.40 to park for two hours. There are plenty of car parks nearby if you can't get a space in the road outside the restaurant.
Upon arrival I was greeted by a member of staff who was friendly and welcoming. I had pre-booked a table to avoid any delay on arrival - I was shown straight to my table. The restaurant is quite small, that said I've never had an issue getting a table. I booked my table online using the restaurant website, which was very simple to do - I received an email confirmation of my booking and everything went very smoothly with the booking process.
The restaurant comprises of one small dining area with a small bar and toilet plus a couple of tables outside. I was well looked after by our waitress, who visited the table often enough to look after our needs and was always on hand if I needed anything.
I enjoyed an amazing Full Monty burger - their signature dish - aged beef patty, American cheese, onion jam, bacon, onion rings and mustard mayo, fries with bacon and syrup along with a freakshake - the best you can get! The food arrived hot, was well presented and tasted really good.
The restaurant toilets were clean and tidy.
Monty's do the best burgers and freakshakes on the planet. My only criticism of this restaurant is stock control - they also do amazing mozzarella dippers but you don't seem to be able to ever actually get them because they keep running out. On my second visit they had also run out of other ingredients which limited the choice. Overall I enjoyed my visit to Monty's and will definitely come again.
For ease of access I give Monty's 5 out of 5. It is easy to find the restaurant using Google Maps - parking and getting to the restaurant was simple.
For food quality I give Monty's 5 out of 5. The food was well presented, the right temperature and tasted good. There was a reasonable selection of food and I found something that appealed to me easily.
For visitor experience I give Monty's 4 out of 5. All of the team were friendly and welcoming and I had no issues - we got everything we expected in good time and enjoyed the experience, just a shame I couldn't get those mozzarella dippers again!
For their facilities I give Monty's 5 out of 5. The toilets were in a good condition, as you would expect.
For value for money I give Monty's 5 out of 5. I paid a reasonable amount, in line with other similar restaurants that I have visited.
Overall I give Monty's 5 out of 5 - I really enjoyed my visit, the food is amazing, and I will definitely come and visit again.
I had no idea this place existed, now I do! All the food was simply epic. I had the chicken wings to start and the mean just fell off the bone, so tender and juicy, the hot sauce wasn't as hot as I would like, but tasty nonetheless. Then I had the Big Mike burger with blue cheese and oh sweet baby Thor, it was insane. The flavors were so strong and if I wasn't full to the brim I would have had another one. I got a bit emotional over how good it was. If it were a girl I'd have left my wife for this thing! Also there were fries, and they were crispy and delicious and hot, actual hot fries! For dessert we had some kind of ice cream cookie sandwich and it surpassed all expectations. So good. They also have Piston head and Innis and Gunn on tap... Win.
Overall a cool place with fun staff and great food.

Love the flavours they create with their burgers, you can tell a lot of thought has gone into developing them. The freakshakes are great, so are the other desert options and I just can't get enough of the upgraded sweet potato fries with maple syrup and bacon!
Have been on a couple of occasions now and each time has been great. Good choice on the menu, highly recommend the crackling for starter. The specials board had the “Hog on the Rocks” certainly the best burger I’ve had in Bournemouth, it was mammoth, hopefully they add it to the menu permanently!
Really nice food, I went for the Full Monty which looked small but was stacked and very filling. The fresh cooked taste was evident and I especially liked the skinny fries. Friendly staff, they were booked up for the evening but if we could keep to an hour they were happy to fit us in.
Awesome burger joint. Great variety of burgers but make sure that if you want them you order sides including fries separately as the burgers are only burgers. We did not need then as the burgers were gone and filling enough on their own.
Went in for lunch, had the tater tots with caramelised onion jam, ranch, crispy onions and Parmesan. It was delicious, would definitely order this again. Portion not massive considering the £6 price tag but did taste good.
Monty's is the perfect dirty date night - Mac and Cheese topped Tater Tots, yes yes yes. Veggie and vegan options are a bit limited, but the staff were flexible for us and made subs and swaps when asked, so we were well catered for. The Black Bean burger gets a thumbs up from me!
Well worth the two month wait but we finally made it to montys lounge and enjoyed everything we had the onion rings as a side with my burger were nearly as big , and the pesto sauce on the hash browns my wife said it mad them so much better than normal. Customer service was fast and perfect . Will definitely call back when in this area again . Keep up the good work montys.
