Great little no frills South Indian cafe. Really tasty and good value. I had the Meat and veg thali buffet, as much as you like, £9.95. Licensed too, if you, like me, like a beer with a curry.

Been here last late evening i.e. 31-aug-18 with Viv for dinner.

The start was not quite well - as we were not served what we asked for... But theb they were quite courteous to change it for us afterwards.

The space is of a cafe size.
Food quite good. We ordered - kiwi & pineapple smoothie, Cauliflower Manchurian, Khatta Mitha baingan, lemon rice, chicken kali mirch.

I dint quite like the lemon rice.. As it had seeds in it which were giving uncomfortable feeling to my mouth n teeth :(

Otherwise... The food was just fabulous n so tasty.
Cost wise average.

From USA, California specifically. Been the England for 6 days and this is the BEST meal I have had in my stay here. The Chicken Mongolian appetizer popped with chili and spice, something sorely lacking in English food. The lamb Dosa was huge with 4 sauces and potatoes.

The chicken chettinadu entree was well spiced with a rich sauce. And the garlic naan might be the best I've ever had.

To top it off the service was excellent. Our Waitress regularly checked in on our table, kept water glasses full, and promptly brought anything we needed. The manager checked on out table more than once and helped explain several dishes that we wernt familiar with. Spectacular service indeed.

I would recommend this restraunt to anyone visiting Bournemouth.

Best place to get good authentic Indian food. Their biriyanis are delicious, don't miss out on the Parotta and curries. I visit the place often, my go to place for good Indian food. Recently tried their Gongura chicken, the flavours were so good.

Unassuming restaurant, the food is excellent. It really is on a different level. The rice was cooked to perfection. Chicken curry to die for. You'll wait 20 minutes for your course, well worth it. The food is fresh. Service great. A very enjoyable lunch

At a regular customer to Dosa World I can say the service can be somewhat inconsistent, ranging from quick attention to occasionally being overlooked, even to the extent of needing to request water for the table. However, there's a dedicated server, Rupa, who has attended to us on several occasions, providing excellent service with a warm and friendly attitude. Always look forward to being served by her she is always quick with the requests too! The real highlight at Dosa World is the food. I absolutely love it! Their chilli fish and paneer starters are my go-to choices, always delivering! When it comes to mains, the Lamb Biryani is a must-try! The Ghee Dosa is also delightful, but the only downside is that they don't serve enough chutney and sambar. It would be great if they included extra servings of these on the table. Although they are available on request it save guests from having to ask for more. Food ordering at Dosa World can also be a bit of a hit-or-miss experience. It can either take a while to get your orders placed or be taken promptly, largely depending on the day and how busy they are. However, one consistent observation is that the food tends to arrive at our table at varied times. It's a bit of a mixed bag, as you'll find that no one at our table ever gets their food simultaneously. This means someone might be halfway through their meal while someone else's food has just arrived. The atmosphere at Dosa World is also quite mixed. Depending on the day and time, it can range from being very lively and loud, especially when filled with families and big groups, to more peaceful and calm during quieter periods. In terms of seating and decor, Dosa World opts for a modern and fine approach, which adds to the overall dining experience.

I told the server that I feel like I'm in India when I stepped in. It was a compliment and I'm glad she received same. Food was nice just like I had had it in India. Place has heavy spice scent and floor was oily, fine for others I guess but not me...thus 2 stars on that.

Food was absolutely amazing!! You can tell that the food here is truly authentic and they really don’t play with the spice and flavours. We had the chilli fish starter, lamb curry , garlic naan, egg fried rice and lamb masala dosa and everything was 10/10. So so impressed with the quality of the food and the incredible flavours. The spice level is not for the faint hearted though . Only issue is that service is very very slow , they definitely need to hire more waiters, I really wish I could give it 5 stars but the food really deserves it but the service was just too slow . However , the service is not enough to put me off, this will be my main spot In Bournemouth for South Indian/ Sri Lankan food.

My experience with the restaurant was good. However I was told that the takeaway will take a bit longer bcoz we are busy. But still I got the food little earlier than expected. The taste of food was very good. The sambar and the chutneys were so delicious and exquisite.

Food was really good and the servers were friendly. However we did struggle with the layout of the menu which made it difficult to understand our options. Happy to try again and now that it all makes more sense.

Food is delicious and so are the drinks. Staff is polite as well. At the time we visited, they didnt have all the dishes available which were stated on their menu but again there were other options. If you love Indian food and are visiting bournemouth then mark this place. 👌

We had come for an Indian lunch - ordered Paneer Tikka, Chicken Tikka, Paneer Butter Masala, Kadai Chicken, Tandoori Roti, Garlic Chilli cheese naan and Ghee roast. All dishes were tasty and were beyond our expectations. The service from Hari was outstanding. He ensured we were very comfortable and all dishes were served on time and were piping hot. Overall, a wonderful choice for an Indian meal in Bournemouth. Thanks, Prithvi from Coimbatore & London
