We came here as I had heard lots of people talk about it. What a nice little surprise. Staff seemed happy in their jobs, and the service was good.
The food arrived quickly and was tasty. There was lots to look at it was like a step back in time, I would like to return during the evening to see what it's like then.
This coffee place has great atmosphere and food. People are so friendly and we will be coming back. Prices are also good. 5/5 :)
Very friendly staff, delicious food, nice outdoor seating as well! Happy to return here and recommend it! Thank you 😃
Lovely cafe, friendly staff and great food. I had an amazing full English where my son had waffles with Nutella and banana.
What a wonderful experience I had at Flirt cafe and bar. The food is exquisite, I especially enjoyed a Venezuelan dish called Cachapa. So delicious! I didn’t have to wait too long before the kind and efficient staff served me. All I can say is AMAZING! Great atmosphere and super tasty food! Definitely a must visit.
What a wonderful place!
Came here for a late brunch.
The owner made us feel very welcome and even gave us dog friendly suggestions of what to do during our holiday.
The place is dog friendly, and our pooch (Border Collie) was made to feel very welcome. Even with his cheekiness!
The food was fantastic. We had ultimate waffles (with bacon and chicken) and a 'flirty breakfast'.
The quality of the food was fantastic, especially the sausages.
Coffee was good.
We'll definitely be back. If you're in the area, I suggest checking it out.
For me it's the best breakfast place in Bournemouth. Great location, great food, comfy sofas, amazing staff and delicious coffe. Highly recommend!

Cute little cafe in the Triangle, it’s great for breakfasts serving eggs many ways, full flirt, pancakes, waffles etc. Lunchtime the cafe does a roaring trade on toasted sandwiches, jacket potatoes and pancakes etc. If you are in the area during the evening have a look at their varied events calendar that includes quiz nights, open mic nights and much more
What a welcoming cafe! We were in Bournemouth for a couple of days to visit some family and we were on the hunt for a good breakfast place! As I muddle through some food intolerances, gluten and dairy free are required options anywhere we eat. My husband was on it. He found Flirt, which was only a 5 minute walk from our Airbnb (it’s a 26 minute walk from the train station and only a 12 minute walk from the Bournemouth Pier). We were also travelling with our two French Bulldogs so dog friendly was on the list of requirements.
Flirt checked all the boxes. “Your home from home” is definitely fitting. They’re family owned and everyone was just so friendly. There was a comfy sofa area of seating, and the decor was light and happy. We enjoyed some great conversation and great breakfast. I had the Flirt Smashed Avocado Toast (£4.50) and Trevor had the Flirty Waffles with Bacon (£8.45). We actually ended up going back the next day too because it was so convenient and reasonably priced.
The only guaranteed option for gluten free is the toast, but that’s ok- the second day we went back they basically gave me a whole loaf. It was really good and a really comfortable and cute place to relax and enjoy a cappuccino in the morning. Would definitely recommend a stop here if you’re in Bournemouth by the Pier!
A lively cafe that serves good food and great milkshakes! It's dog and children friendly, plays good music and the staff are friendly and helpful.
We arrived at 11 am (ish) for a moderately busy breakfast session. The customers were spread across a wide range of ages and the background chatter gave me a good indication that Flirt is a popular venue.
Between the pair of us, we had two breakfasts and two milkshakes... The breakfasts were good, but the milkshakes were perfect! Oh My Gosh at the first sip kinda perfect! All told, a very reasonable £28.90.
We'll definitely be coming back.
The prices, atmosphere and location are excellent. The portions are good. The service very quick and polite.
My only issue was the both my wife and I had ordered dishes with poached eggs but the eggs were overcooked i.e. boiled, probably because they were left in the water for too long. We still ate our brunch and enjoyed it and we would come again.
Honestly, this place is amazing!!! Reasonably priced, lovely staff, great atmosphere, delicious food and great drinks. I would HIGHLY recommend it ('and you should know my recommendations are essentially a guarantee') and we've now found our new regular spot!
Great spot for breakfast, I really enjoyed the breakfast roll. And lovely staff too, a must visit when in Bournemouth!
On a weekend away with our grandchildren. Had breakfast there, and we LOVED it! Very friendly staff. Pancakes and waffles are to die for 😋
Love this place. Friendly and welcoming, great food and drinks. We'll be coming back.
I love all the quirks of this place. It feels so homey, casual, and informal. There was a ukulele live performance that night but I couldn’t stay. Maybe next time. I really like chatty staff who are just chill as they give you really awesome service. Some are more stressed than others but still friendly. It’s surprisingly a big space with lots of people.
Been to the venue twice during our trip to Bournemouth. On both occasions the staff made us feel very welcome, the atmosphere was super friendly and the food was quickly prepared, fresh and tasty. Will be returning again soon!
Travelled from Basingstoke for a shopping trip. Went in after google search for LGBTQ+ friendly places rated “Flirt” top.
Really nice relaxed atmosphere, made to feel welcome. Ordered a couple of drinks and food. Food bought to table, well presented, good portion size, and great taste! Offered cold water with our meal.
Only wish had somewhere like this where I live!!
A home away from home. I always like stopping by for a coffee and a catch up. Doubles up as a reliable remote working spot from time to time. There’s also a piano if you’re feeling musical!
