After our selected place was unexpectedly closed, we choose to go somewhere around and according to google maps Koh Thai was just around.
We were not disappointed as the atmosphere was so awesome and staff looks very professional. Just start with a cocktail which was superb. Ordered main course with wine and after lil wait the dishes were on table. Small portion with big value didn’t look nice. Btw food was delicious without any doubt. Call waitress couple of times but seems it’s time to show who is boss at this restaurant, mean no one came. After third time, I’ll have to literally shout and finally being heard 😅.
On top of that they add service charges in my bill which was a JOKE but I’m happy to pay that rather then create any drama. All I wanna let people know if you’re going there then use their service properly because at the end you’ll have to pay service charges by hook or by crook 😂
Fantastic gem in Bournemouth if you ever want to have Thai food when you are there! Every dish was excellent, and the atmosphere and ambience were very relaxing and welcoming. The service was top-notch, and we had a great time! Will definitely recommend and will be visiting again!
I had a Foodgasm at Koh Thai Restaurant!😍 The burst of sweet and spicy flavours got me drooling and the meal was served hot! Perfect for the rainy weather. Also, the atmosphere is classy and smells lovely 🥰
I recommend 💯💯💯
Fantastic food, best thai food I had in the UK. The food and the hospitality was amazing. We really enjoyed our lunch there and the drinks were very refreshing.
Had an absolutely delightful meal at Koh Thai last week. Atmosphere was very nice, restaurant was busy but not ridiculously loud, staff were polite and friendly and the food was lovely!
very good and delicious Thai food...one of the best I've ever been a really Gem. Worth every penny
Fresh taste and prompt service! The guy behind the desk was welcoming and warm!
P.s. They serve halal meat! Chicken, beef and duck
Excellent food.. It was a busy Friday night so a normal sort of wait but really tasty food with lots of choice/vegan & vegetarian too. Many cocktails! Not for myself sadly but a great range of drinks too!

Great food. Great atmosphere. Great location, not far from all the hotels around the beach stretch area. The staff are nice and helpful. I will always visit here when I’m back in Bournemouth. Food price is reasonable too. We spent roughly £35 for full lunch and tea for 2people.
Lovely restaurant and the food was fresh and delicious! There were plenty of vegetarian options to choose from such as tofu Satay skewers, which were absolutely delicious. Portion sizes were good, I couldn't finish the pad Thai so was given a take away container as I didn't want to waste it.
The only downside whilst visiting was that the restaurant was quite busy, therefore we waited just over an hour for our main and staff did not even realise until we questioned it.
Full five stars this place is amazing, service is great, cocktails are spot on, food is really tasty. Not an average Thai restaurant the dishes are more Thai with a twist. A must try if in Bournemouth.

Exceptional place. Great food, Great decor/ambiance and good value. Cocktails were on offer and were great (Recommend SunnyDaze for those summer nights).
Ordered the following: Chick Satay 5/5.
nicely bbq'd not over cooked and a good sauce!
Tofu Jay stick 4/5 like chicken satay but for veggies. Great grilled flavour on the tofu.
Spring rolls 2/5 Bit of a disappointment. Bland and very oily.
Kafir lime chick bite 3/5. Nice flavours, but over cooked and dry. Sauce was too runny.
Chicken Green curry 5/5. Ģteat flavours, nice light kick, but not over powering. Great addition of bamboo slices. Different to those given in Chinese cuisine, but complimented the dish. Subtle taste of lemon grass and a nice coconut/ chillie base.
An Aubergine curry dish 5/5.Forgot actual name. Awesome curry. Great blend of fragranced/aroma and good combinations. Must try!
Absolutely fantastic. Food is excellent, lovely friendly staff. Our favourite place to eat. Always perfect
The food is authentic and excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch and got takeaways a few days later.
The Koh Thai is a fabulous Thai restaurant. Its dishes are tasty and distinctive. We enjoyed a fabulous lunch of duck spring rolls, dim sum, beef with red curry, squid, spicy pork fried rice, jasmine rice, spicy noodles, spare ribs, spicy prawns and Thai salad. All the dishes were great, but the prawns, squid, and duck spring rolls really stood out. Highly recommended.
Went in with my family while on holiday. We hadn’t booked a table, just casually walked in. We were greeted by a friendly member of staff who quickly saw to our needs and sat us down.
The menu was simple yet packed with everything you’d expect.
Our food came out quickly and efficiently and was to die for, mouth watering food, everything we could have asked for!
Don’t get me started on the cocktails, I’m on my 4th one while typing this review…
Overall a fantastic experience and we will be recommending this place to our family and friends!!!
