We we're served very quickly, we chose "Fred's Feast" for £17 we had a generous portion of cod, chips and peas, a glass of wine, half a small baguette, a cup of tea or coffee and 2 jugs of water, still & sparkling.

Busy busy and you have to wait for a table, but I’m not surprised in a nice restaurant like this which is worth it.

Described to me as the best fish n chips in the world Chez Fred's did not disappoint. Batter light n crispy and plentiful big chips with a side of mushy peas. Heaven!
Always a great meal here. My third visit and the food is great. Never needed to take advantage of the bottomless chips!! There can be queues both too dine in or take out. So make sure you time your visit or accept the wait out is well worth it.
