First of all let's get this out of the way! El Murrino is not a typical restaurant. It is, has it describes itself "An Italian kitchen".The decor is simple diner style but with a playful design. We attended last night for a get together with friends. The food was excellent and the staff very friendly and courteous. Value for money too! 3 courses and half bottle of wine for less than £20... I would highly recommend this place for anyone who likes Italian food. Whether for your working lunch or a get together with family and friends.!
This is by far the best italian restaurant I have been to. We stumbled across it quite late on a wednesday evening looking for somewhere to eat with our children. The staff are so attentive and the food is divine. We dont live in Bournemouth, but we are already considering another break here and this restaurant will at the top of our list of places to visit. Well done guys. A fantastic place to eat.
Amazing, spontaneously chose the place and finally can say that it is the best Italian restaurant in Bournemouth, amazing food, especially risotto fruti di mare with real seafood, and great people working there. Favourite place now!
Just back from a great weekend in Bournemouth. Wanted an Italian meal and found El Murrino's. Great food, great staff and would recommend to anybody to pay this restaurant a visit.
Great decor, great service and great food! Authentic pizza made on site in a wood burning oven, very fresh ingredients and the calamari is amazing! Will def be back and use the takeaway service too!
Visited last night with 12 friends. Having just ridden The New Forest 100-Mile Bike Ride we were hungry! This fab restaurant didn't disappoint.
Buzzing atmosphere, fantastic service and very, very tasty (and most importantly) piping hot food.
Generous portions too! So much so, we couldn't manage deserts!
We highly recommend and wouldn't hesitate to book again when next in Bournemouth.

Visited for the second time last night, our first visit was in June. With a son now at Uni Bournemouth has become our favourite place to visit :)
The staff and brother's who own and run El Murrino are delightful and very friendly and welcoming. The food is delicious and the drinks menu is good and includes cocktails.
Decor is fab and Italian themed. Children are very welcome with ipads along one wall loaded with games and they have scooter seats for them to sit on ;)
Will definitely be in again for a visit when next down to Bournemouth.
Awesome food and great service, pizza was gorgeous, best I have had in a long time �. Lunchtime menu was a bargin. Can't wait to go back ������

We had a fantastic time at El Murrino. We were a large party but this was no trouble at all. Fantastic food and service. Kids loved the vespas which are a brilliant touch. Would definitely recommend.
Second visit to this restaurant with my family today. Excellent place to go if you have kids. Staff are very welcoming. Great to see a local independent establishment producing good traditional Italian food, at a reasonable price, in a fresh modern environment.

It was a very busy evening (bank holidays) and we didn't had an reservation. Still the service and the seating process was so nice and friendly. So the short wait was no problem. The food is just awesome. Everything leaving the kitchen looked so delicious. You can also watch the kitchen team while they are working. I would recommend this place without a doubt.
Pizza and pasta are good. Service is good and friendly. Wine needs much improvement but perhaps not enough local support. Environment is a bit too cramp.
Absolutely loved the experience of dining here. Would recommend the bufilina special pizza 10/10!! Hope to come here soon.
This is the 3rd time I’ve eaten here, and I just can’t fault it. Great Italian food, at a very reasonable price. Unbeatable friendly service. Great atmosphere too. The traditional Italian music adds to the experience. I’ll be back many times over, without a doubt. Thank you El Murrino

All round amazing family restaurant. Friendly, charming service (thank you, Daisy!) and totally delicious pizzas. Loved the thoughtfulness - like cooking the children’s pizzas first and finding them a lolly each. Will be back soon for more of the best pizzas we have ever had!
A delicious lunch out, we had the lunch deal which was really good. Both the pasta and pizza were amazing and the service was really quick and efficient too, friendly staff. Will definitely be coming back.
Great food, drinks, quick, nice and professional service. At the beginning of our dinner was nice and quiet, it gets louder when more people come in. However all depends on the people visiting in. Generally, great place for friends or family meeting. 🙂

The.staff were amazing also accommodating us with our 2 small furry friends with ease to the point I was recommending them to friends and family before I even finishing the starter let alone.the main or dessert so worth the visit
Pleasantly surprised after finding this restaurant whilst away for the night. The fresh food we had was excellent and the kids loved it too. Great 241 Cocktails and the service was excellent!! Unfortunately our daughter became poorly whilst eating (nothing to do with their food, it was the very warm weather) and the staff could not have been nicer and more helpful. We will definitely be back El Murrino!!
The calzone was filled with ham that was still stuck together, kind of like eating a packet of ham. Quite different from my trip 3 years ago

The staff were really lovely and my husband (who had a normal pizza) couldn't stop raving about how good it is. I had ordered a gluten free base but did not say I was coeliac (my fault) -- but noticed that they were preparing all the pizzas in the same space/putting them all in the same oven without pans/using the same tools to cut them. When my husband asked about this, they said that if they knew I had the allergy they would not have advised I eat there. It's fair enough, but I thought I'd leave a review just to highlight it -- there are so many reviews raving about the gluten free crust that I just didn't consider it would be so cross contaminated.
Went to the beach bar. Very pretty and nicely decorated. Nice atmosphere. Friendly staff. Only had drinks. Didn’t seem to be any happy hour or deals on cocktails. First drink I ordered was a strawberry daiquiri and it was awful, just a tiny cup of foam I couldn’t believe I had just paid £8.50 for it. however I then ordered the sex on the beach after and that was gorgeous. Won’t let the awful daiquiri ruin my experience and will probably return again during the air show!
Just had a takeoutdelivery from here and it was absolutely gorgeous. The pizzas are so fresh and tasty and the calamari was delicious 😋

Totally wonderful from the moment we arrived. Staff were great. Food is just as good as the main restaurant although the menu is different. Pizza is the best we have had anywhere! Felt like we were away on holiday with the music playing! Loved it. Thanks to all!
What a great find, this was! Varied Italian menu with really good ‘allergy friendly’ menu. Quite an individual, family run restaurant and really friendly staff. Very reasonable prices and large pizzas!
Came for lunch with my Mum and Grandad, and we couldn't have been happier with our visit! The food was incredible value, even before the lunch deal! My Mum and Grandad both had lasagne and were very impressed!! As a vegan, I was over-the-moom with the best vegan pizza I've ever had!! And to have a yummy vegan dessert as is a rare gem! If the delicious food wasn't enough, the service is unbeatable! Fox was so patient and accommodating, and really made us laugh! He added to the whole experience and made it a memory as well as a lovely meal!! Couldn't recommend this place enough!
