Lovely welcome at bar entrance, seated straight away and service was good. The menu is smaller than years gone by but there is enough to choose from. Very pleasant area and lots of room between tables. There is a larger dining space upstairs that needs to be booked ahead of time. Would go back again
Best restaurant in Bourne! Hands down. We always order the chicken tikka makhani from the Montaz signature menu and it is an excellent dish. When we order online the system always works and we have never had any issues. Furthermore we always add a note on the order which has always been acknowledged. The staff and service is at a high standard and they are always consistent.
Amazing food and amazing service. I was there for a family get together. I have to say the owner and the staff were exceptional. The food was authentic and full of flavours. I highly recommend this place. 👌

Last minute date night with my wife, decided on Montaz as they had a 5 star hygiene rating.
We were welcomed and seated straight away with a choice of 2 tables. We sat down and offered drinks and food menus, after we were given our drinks about 10 minutes minutes in, we realised the door upstairs was ajar and a cold draught was blowing down the stairs, it wasn't an arctic blast but noticeable, our starters arrived and I can say the chicken pakora was very tasty.
I stuck to my go to main of chicken tikka masala and pilau rice, the sauce was creamy and delicious. My wife had Lamb Biriany, it had a plentiful amount of rice, the only thing she was not keen on was the vegetables, she said that they felt frozen in the middle....
The service was good and will definitely be returning soon.

Food was amazing and staff were very welcoming and friendly. The only thing i could pick up on but nothing much really was the staff seemed eager to clear table before everyone had finished. Other then that i highly recommend and can not wait to go back.
What a fantastic restaurant. We were greated by 2 wonderful members of staff who made us feel so welcome. Orders were taken at good time intervals including drinks. Everything was brought out at the right time and the food was amazing 👏 😋. Really wish that I had not eaten all day so I could of tried more dishes. Will definitely be going back to try more Loved all the evening. Thank you , you made my Birthday very special

Been a while since we last visited although a reduced menu the food was great.
Food very good. Large choice of starters and main meals. Very good value for money. At least £10 per couple (with drinks, including bottles of wine) cheaper than Market Deeping or Deeping St James. Went because our regular Indian restaurant of 30 years cancelled it's alcohol licence and no longer serves beer and wine. One small issue, it was a little cold in the restaurant and my wife was cold., (September 2022). Would most definitely recommend Montaz and will now be our regular Indian restaurant.
Had a wonderful take away Indian meal in Jan 2022. We have been having meals from them for decades and always a Notch above the rest.
The member of staff working was amazing and really helpful. Only thing I would say needs improving is ordering. Not everyone wants to order starters and mains together, but the young girl didn't put the starters through and kept coming back to get our mains order.
Had food from here for the past 2 years and never had a bad one. Both takeaway and eating at the restaurant. My favourite Indian for sure
