Myself and nana had a lunch trip and came across this lovely little place. Staff were attentive and catered to our needs without any fault. They were brilliant. Food was fresh and was amazing! Nana had the baked goats cheese and I had the Brie, pesto and tomato baguette. We also shared the little cheese and tomato garlic bread and it was amazing! A really pleasant pub with an excellent choice of well priced food. Busy busy busy. A nice atmosphere of happy customers, walking group, families, ladies that lunch and grey brigade. Two very busy ladies served us they were chatty and worked hard to meet demand. Food attractively plated and tasty. Well done we will return.
We have just enjoyed another wonderful Sunday lunch at the this lovely Pub restaurant. We are here as often as possible as the food is consistently superb. Delicious freshly cooked and plentiful. The staff are attentive, friendly and super efficient. Well done and see you again soon!!

Family meal at the Horseshoe, and we were not disappointed. From the second we walked in, it was clear we were going to be well looked after. The team that looked after us explained the menu, and provided recommendations that were spot on. From the minute our order was taken to the time the passionate team brought our meals was in a duration that we were comfortable with because great food takes time to be freshly cooked, and this was the case at the Horseshoe. Thank you team, and awesome time was had
The staff were very friendly. The pub was quaint & comfortable. Food was excellent & pretty quick to come as well. Very reasonably priced too. My husband said it was best sausage & mash he'd had!! Good sized portions as well.
What a fantastic pub, 9 of us went here for a birthday lunch, the staff are very friendly and very helpful, the food was well priced and portion size very good, I had the burger which just melted in the mouth diserts were amazing. Overall I will definitely be going back it was one of the best meals we have ever had 10/10
Response to Daniel Cadmen. I was sat at the bar when this person sought a table. At no point was he told to go elsewhere, he was advised on a couple of occasions that it may be a wait and the bar person was polite and professional. I am all in favour of constructive criticism when the service is poor. It was not on this occasion and it would be a lot more helpful if people's comments were accurate or at least honest?
We attended a memorial service here and everything was spot on. An area had been allocated and a buffet was supplied. The staff were very courteous and could not do enough for you taking good care of everybody. Would highly recommend it.
Went there for a wedding on 1st July 2023. I don't know what they pay their staff, but it's not enough. Definitely going there again.
Good food for a fair price. Limited menu choices. Bar staff and waiting staff cheerful and friendly. Interior tastefully decorated.

Decided to try The Horseshoe after going past so many times and found the service was exceptional with extremely delicious food would definitely like to visit again.

A late decision to go there but we’ll worth it. Food was hot, service was excellent and quick, staff were soo polite and went out their way to help.
Decided to dine here as we have always heard great comments about the place but have never been ourselves.
It was busy for a Tuesday night, great to see as it just shows how popular the place is.
Both girls who served us were lovely and attentive and a real credit to the place.
Food was amazing with a great selection on the menu.
We will definitely be returning here as couldn't recommend it enough just gutted we left it so long to try it for ourselves 😁

First time of going in pub , great atmosphere , only had drinks . Staff friendly .
Have been before and will come again, I think that speaks for itself.
It's also great to order takeaway for Sunday, all the joy of a roast at home without the cooking, it's a no-brainer.
10th June just been in to order my takeaway lunches for tomorrow it would be rude not to have a pint at the same time.
