Can here after an off chance of seeing it on a diverted way home so booked a table for our birthdays. What a lovely, warm, welcoming pub with fantastic staff and locals. From walking in, until leaving everything was brilliant. Thank you for the birthday treats as well. Can't wait to return.....I'm having a pizza next time as they look excellent!

Our 1st time here at the absolutely beautiful Six Bells, there was 6 of us. We booked for 8.15pm and sat outside on the terrace that has that wow factor, so cosy and comfortable, they have heaters luckily didn’t need them as it was a warm evening, definitely sit outside if you can makes the experience even more pleasant. The food was amazing, everything is locally sourced and made from scratch by the chefs & I mean everything their attention to detail is 2nd to none. We all had something different from the menu and loved every mouthful. The staff were lovely and catered with enthusiasm and care, we felt our experience was so special and loved every minute. I strongly recommend you try here as you will not be disappointed. Thanks to everyone see you all soon.

Lunch for less was brilliant. We were lucky to get a table, turning up without a reservation. The food was fabulous, and the bread was so good you could even but to take it home if they had spare; all gone by 12:30 PM, which is understandable

Roaming the area on vacation from California. Stormy skies and hungry bellies (and a recommendation from our hosts at The Cow Shed accommodation) sent us to the Six Bells at Witham on the Hill. It was lovely inside. The Proprietors James and his sister run a top quality place. Young and enthusiastic staff showed professionalism beyond their years. With an extensive drink menu and food beyond pub fare, they had plenty of guests even for a rainy Sunday evening. My wife ordered a fungi pizza on a gluten free base and I got the carni pizza. We could only eat half, so we have lunch for tomorrow! My wife needed some greens, so James had his cook whip up a green salad, while I, on the other hand needed something sweet, so I ordered the Chocolate Nemesis with salted caramel ice cream. We’ve been on the road now for 2 weeks, and this is the only restaurant review I’ve written. I’m sure they have plenty of local business, but I think it is worth a drive!

Visited the 6 Bells on Monday for lunch, beautiful local pub and setting. Great service and even better food! Can’t believe it’s now my local pub!

I don't often eat out on a Sunday, and I generally tend to avoid roasts, but this one was excellent. On the table, we had both the beef and the lamb, and the lamb was spot on. The vegetables were too, and the service was excellent. If you are looking for a genuinely superb ve ue for a Sunday outing, this is the one on the outskirts of Stamford.

Went for Saturday lunch. It was amazing. The staff were very attentive, food was best in the area, menu interesting. good value. Coming back soon! The younger members of the team serving gave brilliant service and I'd like to compliment them. Really good. The chef produces great food like you probably wouldn't eat at home so it's an interesting experience. A jem of a place!
