The Bounty is an excellent pub in a fine setting with outstanding views and a wonderful atmosphere. The menu provides a wide and varied selection and the food is of a very high standard. I was particularly impressed with the Ploughman's, especially as this is a dish not often found in pubs these days. It was great! Congratulations to the management and staff on making this diner and his wife very happy and satisfied customers. Keep up the good work!
The epicentre of the People’s Republic of Cockmarsh.
A warm welcome always guaranteed. You’ll find a fine selection of Marlow brewery Rebellion beers on tap, a proper pub menu and special sausages for canine friends who frequent the place.
Inaccessible by road, a boat operates from Bourne End in exchange for a donation at the bar
Lovely place for lunch. Right on the river. Park in the auction house csr Park and its a 5 min walk along the tow path and over the bridge to get to it. Otherwise you can use the river taxi from bourne end marina
A different pub with a beautiful location on the river! Interesting interior but also the exterior space is huge with many tables to sit outside and enjoy a sunny day by the river. Accessible only by walking and not by car. Obviously it is very busy on a sunny day!
The thing about this place is the location. If it wasn't situated right next to the river I would probably give it a 2. It's got a large outdoor and indoor area so good for all weathers, great beer and food, but it is a bit grubby. You forgive that when you are sitting by the side of the river with a drink in your hand looking out. Great at any time.
The Bounty is an Iconic local place with a good selection of beers and some good food. People come here for the outdoors, water side experience, and the eclectic style of the place. You have to walk a little to get here, but it's worth it. It's a 10 min walk from the Borne End car park. The service was fast and friendly. We will be back. Try the fish!
Survived several floods, a couple of covids, still running on the top notch. Great food, good beer, will visit again as it might get flooded again.
Love this place. Nice wine, good food, dog friendly (with a doggy menu) and right on the riverside.
Have been meaning to check this place out for a while and so decided to take a walk along the river and stop halfway here.
We arrived about half an hour before it opened but the beer garden was already filling up. Then, as soon as it opened people were queuing up at the outside bar ordering food and drinks.
We only had a drink (unless you count a couple of ice creams as food) but what we saw being served to other tables looked quite nice - we'll definitely come back for that another time.
Nice little play area for the kids and there was a big marquee with reserved signs for a 30th birthday that afternoon - very jealous of that as bet a good time was had by all.
Overall a cracking pub by the river, friendly staff and a good selection of drinks (and ice creams).
Well worth a visit.
Lush friendly pub up the river. Real fire on, friendly staff and good home cooked food...what more do you need 🙌
Great food and drink available. Kids menu and plenty of outside and inside space after your walk by the river. Told good would be an hour which was fine and to be expected on a back holiday sunny afternoon. But the food came after 40 minutes so pleasantly surprised.
Fantastic pub along the river, welcoming land lady, a great pit stop to take in the scenery, and let the world go by! lovely food with generous portions, a bubbly atmosphere, a dog lovers dream
A great pub on the river with tasty and cheap food. The beer was great too and service was splendid. Would go back in a heartbeat.
Brilliant boat parade and atmosphere.
Beautiful location. Good beers and food. Friendly staff and good service.
Fabulous pub on the river. Outside bar & seating. Typical pub grub. Fantastic for kids to play here. Very dog friendly. 🐕.
The most dog friendly pub around.
Great food, generous portions. Visited in the pouring rain. Lovely refuge. Normally packed on dry days. Worth the walk to access the pub's unique location.
