Really friendly pub with very friendly staff. All the times I have been to this pub for a meal I have never had any reason to complain. Would recommend to anyone.

Really like this pub. We were in the area and passing by so popped in for lunch and a drink. The staff were very friendly and our host Kim couldn't be more attentive and it felt like we were having personal service as nothing was too much trouble. The menu was extensive and food was excellent and reasonably priced not to mention good beer from McMullens. We will definitely come back, a massive thumbs up from us :-) (Y)
This establishment never disappoints. Lovely varied menu including a Fish Menu and they also cater for gluten free customers. Greta food and lovely staff.
We held our son’s Christening celebrations at The White Horse. We were given the use of the back garden and the children had a great time playing with the outdoor games that were provided.
There was plenty of food for the buffet, all of our guests commented on how lovely it was. Laura was very helpful, as were the rest of the team.
We will definitely be booking The White Horse again in the future.
Such a wonderful little pub with welcoming friendly staff! Such a gem of a place and I'm always suprised when we go there, for food (which is always amazing!!) Or for a quiet drink, that its never as busy as i expect! Its a great british pub! One of my favorites for miles!

Lovely cosy pub with great, traditional pub food. Lovely staff with excellent service too.
I would highly recommend The White Horse in Bourne End. All the staff are always very friendly and helpful. The food is excellent. I had the Wagu Burger and it is up there with one of the best Burgers I have ever had. All my family really enjoyed their meals. Our dog also had a nice time as he is made very welcome. A nice touch is the K9 menu which our dog loved. We will definitely go back to The White Horse as soon as we can. 👍
Lovely meal with the family, the food was nice in general but the calamari was rubbery and over cooked. The carrots that came with the roast were rock hard and had trouble cutting them.
First time going with my family, and we’ve all agreed it’s the best roast we’ve ever had! Not the mention the delicious starters and desserts. The staff were polite and friendly, always around if we needed anything. The food and drinks arrived quickly, and so delicious. I think this will be our new favourite place!
We turned up here on our way back from somewhere hoping they could cater for my niece's plethora of allergies and my plant based diet. They did not disappoint.
They managed to squeeze us into a table without a reservation through pure luck and we spoke to the waitress about allergies who immediately sent over the manager who could not do enough for us.
Every question about the food was either a very knowing yes or a quick check back to the kitchen. It was very reassuring to have someone who knows their kitchen and food so well.
After several questions he was able to put together an order for a meal that would suit my niece's needs (this was definitely not on the menu, but they did what they could to help).
The food came and was very nice, the service was fast and efficient, the staff friendly and welcoming. Could not ask for more from a pub that does grub!
Would 100% recommend and will definitely go back.

Staff were friendly and helpful, but at times service felt a bit slow. However, fitted well with our needs and I suspect if you want service, the staff would have responded.
Overall a great meal and would recommend and will visit again.
Highly recommend. Food was fab. Service was excellent even got offered suncream as the sun was out. We will be back.

We booked for my mother in laws birthday. They couldn't have done more for us, the service was great. They also put a candle in her dessert too, to celebrate. The food was delicious! Lovely old pub with a big garden too!
From the moment we walked through the door till the moment we left, the staff were friendly.

A delightful warm friendly pub with a great lunch menu. You couldn’t have had more friendly efficient warm welcoming staff…a lovely chap looked after us .We were very quickly served cold refreshing beers and the food was delicious.We just fell into the pub en route home to London having previously tried to get into the most unfriendly pub just down the road. The White Horse was a joy in every way.Strongly recommended .

Great country pub that allows well behaved dogs so we took our Frenchie Joey. Extensive pub menu and food very good. Place was clean and tidy and service efficient with a smile. My mum always told me to check the toilets and they were sparkling 😀 Joey will be back soon🐕
