Went on the Alpaca walk and sparkling afternoon tea on July 26th. Really enjoyed the whole experience...the girl who led the walk was knowledgeable and friendly and explained the traits of each animal as she gave each person their alpaca! She told me that mine liked to be at the front and enoyed being spoken to!! We arrived back and went to the cafe for afternoon tea...the waitresses were efficient and brought the sparkling wine straight away quickly followed by hot drinks and then a lovely platter with fresh sandwiches, cakes and sweet potato fries on...plus the most delicious banana ketchup! Really couldnt fault anything and would definitely recommend a visit!
Fabulous couple of hours spent at Charnwood Forest Alpacas for the sparkling afternoon tea experience. Loved meeting the 'boys' and the afternoon tea was delicious. Would thoroughly recommend.

Doesn't get much better than a morning 90 minute walk with an Alpaca, cute, friendly, inquisitive and chilled. Staff were great and the experience was wonderful. Would definitely recommend the walk and the chilli bean kitchen, scrummy bacon butty and coffee.

Did the Cria watch this time but will be back in a couple of weeks to do the alpaca walk with afternoon tea! Such a lovely experience would highly recommend to anyone! Looking forward to my return trip!
I bought this for my friends birthday, we arrived on Sunday. It was the best experience, what wonderful animals, Helena was a great leader, went all too quickly. The afternoon tea was scrummy. We enjoyed the whole experience, thank you. I am sure we will visit you again. 😀😀

We had a lovely hour here yesterday for my son's birthday. Shelby was funny and informative and the alpacas so cute. Would definately recommend the experience. Thanks.

We did the Cria Watch, our guide was lovely and the little information brief at the beginning was great addition learning aswell as having fluffy cuddles. The farm is so clean and tidy and the cafe wasn't too badly priced. All I'd say would the gift shop could do with a few small items for kids to take away as my son loves gift shops. Maybe alpaca wool pencils or mini alpaca keyrings. Already recommended to all my friends ���

Fabulous experience, walking the alpacas and afternoon tea. Our walk guide, Will, was lovely. Calm, entertaining, knowledgeable, and clearly knows what he's doing. Afternoon Tea was yummy. Rustic, homemade, and filling. The service in the cafe was excellent. I would definitely recommend 👌
Really lovely afternoon tea, really didn't like the self serve tea and coffee. Each of us had to keep walking through the tables disrupting flow of conversation and disturbing those eating on the other tables. Even if I could have filled up my own teapot, it would have been better. The room was really too hot to be comfortable, however the staff were lovely and the food very good.
After a lovely walk with the Alpacas we had lunch at the Chilli Bean . Sitting outside we had stone baked pizza cooked in the outside kitchen, cheesy chips and a Caramel Frappe, finished off with homemade Millionaires Brownie - all delicious. The atmosphere was really good too, surrounded by different animals and people going out walking with the Alpacas.
Fabulous afternoon Tea in Chilli Bean Cafe. More than plenty to eat, with fresh cut sandwiches, crisps, fresh fruit, cake selection, and cream tea. Help yourself drinks also included. This was followed by a wonderful hour chatting to and grooming Heidi, the most patient 5 year old Donkey (who rolled in the dust as soon as she was walked back to the field)!
Lovely setting and good food too, service was slightly slow but I'm not grumbling, it was very busy.
I'd recommend eating here to anyone however your going to pay a high price for it, not cheap at all.

Visited while my family were having a horse riding trek. Really nice food, the Tiffin is fantastic! The staff are friendly and welcoming.
We did the alpaca and pizza experience. It was fantastic. Walking my alpaca called Rupert. Pizza was lovely in the chilli bean restaurant. Definitely recommend !
