Very old pub in a great spot. Plenty of seating inside with both a large bar and large restaurant area. Staff were very helpful and the chef was accommodating to our specific requirements. Inside is amazing and still has it's original character. This would probably be classed as a winter pub as so cosy and dark inside. Can imagine and open fire

Fantastic food in here. It's not the cheapest place to eat but you get great food and good size portions! Some of their cheesecakes are really good too.Landlady very friendly.
Absolutely lovely welcome, David and his staff were amazing. Beautiful pub with a traditional environment and comfortable seating. Tables well spaced out.

Food was outstanding. Plenty of choices but I had the best fillet steak I have ever eaten followed by a lovely homemade desert.
Superb Sunday roast veneue. Yorkshire puddings the best I've had in a very long time. Great vegetarian dish selection for the rest ofour party. Lots of reviews have raved about the toilets, which I can concur are super clean. Well worth the 45 minute drive from SE London.
A great pub for a family lunch the service was great the food was good and we weren't hurried out like some places .
Popped in for a late Sunday lunch. Was made to feel very welcome. Food was served quickly and was delicious. Would highly recommend.
Our local, and couldn’t be any happier. Superb traditional old English pub serving good beer and excellent food, and the team of staff couldn’t be and friendlier. We take all our friends and family here and they all say exactly the same 😁

Best welcome from all the staff who were attentive throughout without being in your face. Food was just stunning. Cajun chicken with tagliatelle and fish pie were both epic. Bit pricey but so worth it. Go!
Fantastic food but my only problem was a (tip) was included on the bill , surly our choice to tip or not ? But then to not be offered our change after paying!!!!! Never again
A fantastic pub with a lovely friendly atmosphere. The staff are friendly and helpful, the food and drinks are superb. I had moules mariniere with chips which were delicious.
