We actually won a free meal but would definitely go back as it is a lovely place. Food was delicious and staff were very friendly and helpful. Couldn't have asked for a better night �
Had a family lunch in a private room upstairs, 21 adults and 3 children. Was perfect, had its own bar and staff, who were extremely helpful and attentive. Food was excellent, room was clean, warm and cosy.
No complaints whatsoever. I'd thoroughly recommend this to anybody looking to host a small function. Room is free when buying lunch. Top notch.
Had a surprise 70th birthday party for my mum here last night In upstairs function rooms and would like to say thank you, nothing was too much trouble for the staff they were very friendly and welcoming, everyone said how lovely the buffet was and it was amazing , would highly recommend , thanks again x
What a great night we had for my friends birthday. The food was amazing as always .. the cocktails were delicious and the service was brilliant. We had a very large group and Kirsty was so attentive to us all. The entertainment was so lively and fun.
My partner and our kids are regular customers here and we have never been disappointed. Also... the sticky toffee pudding is the best I've ever tasted. Thanks for a great night xxxx
Went for food today and to book for a birthday party. Food was super tasty and the staff couldn't be more cheerful and helpful! Lovely place for a quiet drink and good grub!

Came here for a works meeting, we had full use of the function room upstairs. The service was fantastic and food was beautiful. Great sized room for what we needed it for too, which had its own bar.
Visited their quiz night as we do monthly. Good atmosphere. Friendly staff and very helpful. Didn't have a meal. Food is nice anytime we have ate there. Nice place and toilets very nice and clean. I have a mobility problem so disabled toilet is at end of bar on ground floor.
A father's day visit. Food was ok, some of the roasted potatoes looked different from others on the plate and were not cooked as well as the others. The roast beef was a little stringy as well. Other than that everything else was fine. The staff were very good.
The atmosphere was spoiled very slightly by a door to the outdoor area constantly banging open and shut due to the wind.
We enjoyed a lovely meal as a family just before New year. The staff were able to find us a table really quickly and service was excellent.
The place is cosy, welcoming and warm! Definitely recommended!
I work in the hospitality industry, so I feel it important to recognise places when I have a great experience. Food was absolutely delicious, and the service was prompt and friendly. Would highly recommend this place. Prices more than reasonable by todays standards, and absolutely worth it. Will definitely be back.
The staff provided a fantastic service for a funeral tea and were very respectful of the family's privacy while giving a professional service throughout. Thank you it was very much appreciated.

Food presented well, the starter order (only one of the 2 dishes ordered) was incorrect but they gave it to us on the house whilst we waited for the correct dish to be made.
There was some confusion over a vegan meal ordered. They had sold out of the ordered dish so offered a halloumi based dish, it wasn't a problem explaining halloumi couldn't be ordered due to an allergy. They offered something that wasn't on the menu. Unfortunately it seemed like the shop bought guacamole had some sort of dairy in it hence the reduction of one star.
Just had a drink there. But it looks like a very cozy place. Staff was very friendly
The food was good as usual, the only thing missing was my coconut ice cream with my dessert 😁

The food was very well presented, and more importantly tastes superb. I had Thai Green Curry, not to hot ....fantastic. Lovely clean well kept facilities. Certainly be back on my next visit.
Good Quality food at a reasonable price. Friendly staff with a nice ambience. Lovely and warm inside too . Reccomended. The Cullen skink was lovely and a good portion.
