We had cad and chips for two, the fish was excellent as was the service and online ordering system. I give only 4 stars as the chips were past their best, but I'd certainly use the shop again.
I'd stopped using this shop but have started again since the new owners have taken over. They are wonderfully generous to the community and the food has always been hot and tasty.
Fantastic service lovely friendly owners best priced and excellent quality fish and chips around here for miles there prices are very reasonable and not over priced like the ones in diss credit to the owners keep up the good work.
We had cod and chips tonight and it was the best we’ve had in a long time. Lovely crispy batter, very tasty cod and the chips were crisp and fluffy. The only negative was the curry sauce; it was gloopy and fairly tasteless. We’ll definitely be returning.

Very friendly owner who cheerfully cooked fresh food for me even whe I showed up near closing time and still had time for a chat.
Apparently the menu has been stripped back by the hew owner to stick to the basics and make what he does the best he can make it.
Job done.

This is not just your average fish and chip shop! We had fish and chips - the batter was light and crispy, the fish very fresh, tasty crispy chips, with the addition of salad and a slice of lemon! Friendly staff and great service. Will be going back; highly recommend.
Had haddock and chips twice last night (for 2 people not a one person double helping unfortunately..) Very good meal. The fish and batter were really tasty and cooked just right for me. Great to have the village chippy open again.

Under new management. Haven’t used the shop for well over a year and it was fantastic. Kebab cooked lovely and not burnt like it used to be. Staff was super friendly and welcomed up back with open arms. Will definitely be coming back.
