Went to try the fish and chips on recommendation from a friend , really enjoyed them , will definitely be going back again , food was great as was the service, nothing was too much trouble, thank you 😊

Lovely , stopped by because our usual chippy was on holiday , wandered in , cheerfully greeted , made my order and while I was waiting a gentleman came in and ordered a cone of chips, they didn't have any so one of the ladies made one , so a cone of chips was produced . If the service is like that I'll be back . The chips and everything with them was very good . Worth going . Sharpen your teeth and give it a go . Since then I've been back with my partner several times , always welcome , always receive good fish and chips and always get involved in good banter . Hard working staff obviously appreciated by their customers.
Update . I've just been to the sutteron chippy and the problems they are best by are not easy to work around . But they are , and though a bit tight lipped, are working to their usual high standard . The proprietor is working under a particular problem , the chip making equipment is on the fritz , but they have people hand cutting chips and , the service is still good and worth every penny .
Don't muck about reading this bilge , check the opening times and go there . You'll not waste your time . Be nice . Take your best teeth .

Came to a loss where to buy quality fish and chips, then 💥 found that Sutterton chip shop was open, now been there twice this week. At last fresh chips, decent quality fish, proper mushy peas...
Cost £ for a family of 4 also not to expensive.
Really friendly staff always chatty. Been here many times before and will go many times again too. Only negatives is sometimes on rare occasions we get a batch of dry/hard chips like they been sitting around. Something the batter on the fish is think and oily but again this is rare. Biggest grip is cash only and there are no cash points around as local post office closes when they open. Please find a way to take card!

Tonight's fish and chips were the best ever, I always like fish and chips from Sutterton, but WOW I had the best piece of skate cooked to perfection light batter and the chips🤤. I have to also add the price is good too. Superb

We've used flinders in donnington for last 5 years, but food now is terrible since new owner. I was suggested to try Sutterton chip shop by several people which is nearer to us near gosberton. We turned up just after 7pm not knowing they shut at 7. Owners were more than happy to serve us as they hadn't locked the doors yet and food was the best chips we've had in a very long time. Sutterton chip shop will now be our goto chippy.

Without doubt the best fish and chips I've ever had. I live in Sutterton and visit weekly and can honestly say the food is always delicious, added to fantastic friendly staff.
