Thank you for the lovely afternoon tea for my birthday the selection of sandwiches, cakes, scones were beautiful and the staff were marvellous. Nothing was too much for the staff who made my day special. Would recommend you to everyone.xxxx
We had one of the best afternoon teas (I’ve had a few) this weekend! Amazing selection of sandwiches, beautiful cakes and lovely fresh scones. The staff couldn’t do enough for us. We had it outside in the sunshine, a great birthday treat for my partner - we will be back for another one very soon xx
We held my nanny's 90th birthday celebration here! After having to cancel and rearrange due to my nannys health, nothing that the staff here ( especially Amy) could do was too much trouble! They bent over backwards to accommodate us and make sure that my nanny had the time she deserved! Thankyou so much for everything xxx
My daughter had a craft birthday party yesterday and I couldn't have been happier with this venue. The staff were so kind and accommodating, which lets face it isn't always easy with a bunch of 4/5year olds but nothing was too much trouble. The food was great and Jelly and ice cream went down a treat. Thank you

Been coming to Westward Lakes since 2010 and The Mallard is a welcome addition, the staff are friendly and the place has a very welcoming feel to it from the second you walk in whether it's for a beer or coffee and cake.

Been for afternoon tea today with a friend, we both had a lovely time, we came away feeling relaxed with full belly's, you really can't ask for any more, the staff were really friendly and helpful nothing was too much trouble.

Fantastic for tea and cake after a lovely dog walk around the woods. Plenty of outdoor seating and dogs are welcome inside in the hard flooring section near the bar. Great service from lovely staff too.

Part of the Westwood lakes fishing retreat. Great staff. Good location. Good prices considering the out-of-the way location. Try the afternoon tea. Lovely.
