A Wednesday lunchtime and we called in on the off chance. We were not dissapointed. Two drinks, two starter and two mains for less than £25.00. The lunchtime special of 2 starters and 2 mains for £10 each is a great deal. The food was well presented, piping hot, and very tasty. Service was efficient
Popped in for lunch on Saturday, 2 courses for £10! The belly pork starters was exceptional the chicken main was definitely great value too. The service was very good too highly recommended 👌
Food was amazing. Sadly the service not so great. The guy serving literally sat at the bar on a stool calling across for our orders rather than come to the table. Then got it wrong and the chef then called to us from the door for correct order...

Only parked campervan behind the pub, but Jimmy the landlord looked after me very well, including power from his garage - a real treat. And the meal and ale were very good.

Good food, be prepared the helpings are huge.. I had the pork and apple stack. Two massive pork chops, two large pieces black pudding, rosemary and garllic potatoes, would have fed two, best to book. Only downside for me could do with more choice of ales
