The Long Bar & Restaurant - Boscastle - Photo album

What a slice of heaven in Boscastle. Sure, you can go to the expensive place nearby but you will get half the meal and none of the atmosphere or the service. The meal we had here was the best meal we have ever had in the U.K. and this is including 5 separate trips and expensive London locations. The
Really good place. Food was great, freshly cooked. Ordered a Mackrell bruschetta and brocoli and blue cheese soup as a starter. Mains pork belly with avocado and cucumber and burger with fries. Didn't spend a fortune. Can't say a bad word, highly recommend.
Excellent food and service. Dinner here on Saturday evening was excellent. The service was first rate, helpful and attentive. Menu was limited but the food was delicious and creative. We had a sharing starter with four different starters and we couldn't decide which we liked the most! Then we w
The Wellington, nestling at the bottom of the hill by the river, is one of Boscastle's finest buildings. A busy bar and superb offering of restaurant quality food makes it well worth a visit. Don't forget to explore upstairs in the unique galleried bar!
Fantastic place, really Christmassy at the moment. Great fire to warm by after short walk round Boscastle. The food was well cooked and tasted beautiful. Staff are friendly and also it is dog friendly inside too. Highly reccomend.
Just a nice stop for a cosy coffee with the wooflets.
Love it - food's always great, staff lovely, and so cosy in the winter when the fire's on.
Great coffee, so we stayed for lunch. Absolutely gorgeous Mussels, garlic, cream and fresh baked bread! Really scrummy. Friendly staff, great place. Thank you!
Great traditional pub. Excellent service. Everyone is friendly and smiling. Food absolutely fantastic. Great selection of beers. It is 'must go to' place in Boscastle.
We only had drinks, short of staff again here. The service though was really good and the location relaxing, loved decor and the Cider.
We enjoyed a well earned lunch after walking to Boscastle from Tintagel. Excellent service interesting selection of food . The game terrine was really good. Lovely atmosphere. Some great Art up in the gallery bar by Mike Moss worth a visit in itself. They should advertise this more as I only found i
Great service and food. I had the best big bowl of mussels with lovely bread for mopping up the juices and my husband had the salmon quiche which was also excellent. Will definitely go back.
Atmosphere a bit sterile - service slow- beer very good. Food not cheap
Lovely staff and food but no separate proper disabled toilets. They use the gents for this purpose as the outer door locks but still a few steps to get up to the same level. No good for wheelchairs.
Hard to fully judge as only had a sandwich and a pint but we really enjoyed the food and atmosphere of the raised beer garden/outdoor seating area. Looking at the plates of other people, the food was presented well and looked of excellent quality.
We visited last night and had an excellent evening here. The welcome was friendly and efficient. We started with a couple of pints of Sharpe's Sea Fury bitter, highly recommended. Then had mussels, mackerel brucetta to start, followed by cod for my partner and sirloin steak for me, all very tasty. S
