The best crab sandwich & lobster roll, made to order so fresh full of beautiful crab & lobster meat. Definitely recommend to anyone visiting Boscastle 😊

Had a fresh crab sandwich for lunch here today. Simply done - loved the parsley and lemon slices - but absolutely wonderful to eat in the sun on the bench outside....

Delicious, fresh lobster and crab. A great addition to this beautiful village. Keep going back for more, it's such a treat! Great staff with lots of recipe ideas.

Amazing meal with great service and exceptional setting. We sat outside and the evening light was lovely as was our meal. We had a nice bottle of wine and enjoyed several dishes including the scallops, English asparagus and fried chick peas - all delicious. I appreciated the small plates were local pottery, too. We weren’t celebrating a special occasion but it felt like it.

Loved it. It was not cheap, but it was a treat while away on a long weekend. So glad we managed to get a table. It was outside, but there were blankets, and it was SO pretty.

Great tasting food, beautifully presented. Possibly best asparagus ever had. Loved the Asian fusion with fresh local ingredients. Lovely atmosphere and a great evening to be sitting outside enjoying great food in a fantastic location. Thanks for accommodating Chip (the dog). 🐟🌶☀️

This is the most charming and quirky little place to eat. Great original and really tasty dishes on the menu, served for sharing. Lovely staff. Lovely original cocktails if you fancy one. We sat outside and it was covered, heated and had rugs if needed (which we didn’t) If you would like a meal with great ambience and unusual choices this is worth booking up and splashing out.

All I can say is if you wish to treat your taste buds to a delectable experience...definitely visit here! The menu changes daily due to what seafood is caught that day 😋 we so enjoyed it and felt fine dined. Be prepared to pay for the alcohol and tot up the price of the dishes you want to order before ordering if working with a budget for your night out. Our final bill was expensive but oh so worth it 👌🏽😊 also the service was friendly and helpful 😊

2nd visit after a year away. Quality is still super high. Order several dishes as its a tapas style taste experience. Great for those interested in new flavours. Scallops were what I see most people ordering, we also did the same ;) Beautiful buttery and tender. Best Scallops I've had for a long time. Other dishes to note were the seabass sashimi and the mtabbal (creamy aubergine), these were our favourites. Do try the roast cabbage ;) We were also treated to 2 glasses of prosecco as we had booked a dinner for our honeymoon. You will need to book ahead as walk-in places are rare. We will be back!

Had my birthday meal here while visiting from Yorkshire, and had such a special & memorable experience. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, and each dish we got was excellent! The food was all very fresh and locally sourced. Some of our favourites were ceviche, warm beetroot salad, and lobster pasta 🤤 only a few tables inside but it added to the private, cosy feeling and there are more outside with a very nice setting as well. Would highly recommend it!!

I'm not sure why I've not reviewed it before, as I've been here 50+ times, but the Rocket Store is our favourite restaurant in a 100-mile radius. The food and cocktails are always fresh, adventurous, delicious, and very reasonably priced. The service is always super friendly, and we have a memorable evening every visit. Cannot recommend enough

I was highly impressed. If the future of catering in this country is in the hands of the likes of this delightful group of young people, then it is in good hands. Second to none. If I had to choose my favourite dish (not easy), it would have to be the Wild Sea Bass Sashimi exquisite! Just suffice to say “In future, when in the West Country I will not feel the need to drive to Padstow or Port Isaac for fine dining”

Unbelievable. Saw Rick Stein talk about this place and thought we must try it. Exceeded our expectations. Incredible food, perfect service, beautiful setting. Mussels were a highlight but honestly every dish was fantastic. We will remember this meal for a long time. Highlight of our trip.

Incredible food in a beautiful setting. We sat outside and had lunch - a selection of small sharing dishes, as is the way of the restaurant. Most of our dishes were simple by design (e.g. bread charred on a grill, oysters, little dressed sweetcorn cobs, hake in thai curry sauce), but the devil is in the detail and everything tasted exceptional. The Rocket Store is pricey, yes (£100 for two without alcohol), but if you push the boat out on one meal whilst holidaying then it has to be this place.

Everything we ordered was beautifully presented, every dish was delicious & all staff pleasant. Reasonably priced for how fresh and local the produce was. 😊

We stayed in Boscastle for 4 weeks and we came to this restaurant twice. We were a little let down by the lack of high end seafood restaurants in Boscastle and we were so pleased to come across The Rocket Store, as this little gem made our time here so much better! Their selection of small plates and seafood is incredibly creative, so beautifully cooked and pleasing to look at. Young chefs who deserve a michelin star! The customer service is also outstanding. Cannot fault it, if we ever come to Boscastle again I really hope this restaurant is here again :D

We had an exceptional veggie feast at the Rocket Store in a beautiful setting at Boscastle Harbour. I’m glad we didn’t overlook it as being a fish restaurant, because the 6 small plates of veggie dishes we shared were outstanding, and a million miles away from the standard veggie offerings most places serve. Our favourites were the fried chickpeas on spiced yoghurt with chillies and a fresh herb sauce, the smoked aubergine with roasted spring onions and chillies, and the smoked peas. The service was relaxed and friendly, and as a special treat this was a memorable meal out. How lovely to find vegetables being given the same quality thoughtful cooking as fish dishes. Veggie heaven!

This place is outstanding, the inventiveness of the flavours was wonderful - such smart, complex & multilayered dishes prepared from fresh local produce by a chef who's youth belies his ability. I see other reviews complaining about 'London prices', well if meat and potatoes is more your thing there's a couple of pubs within a hundred yards where you could get a surpassingly adequate meal of the sort you'll find in every town in England, and it'll probably be a few quid cheaper. Personally I'll happily pay 10% more for a truly memorable meal.

Sensational lunch. Incredible menu of tasty dishes created and served by friendly and welcoming staff. Very special meal. Recommend the chickpeas and the bread & tapenade.
