The previously un-used dining room at the rear of the Pub has now been taken over by a young Thai couple. As a consequence Thai food is now available Tuesday to Sunday, 12-3 and 6-9, the two course lunch special menu is great value at £13.95pp, and the full menu extensive enough for all pallettes.
A lovely pub.....and the staff are very friendly and make feel very welcome.
Visited for a drink. I am in a wheelchair and the landlord and his assistant couldn't have been more helpful. Can't praise them enough, ten out of ten. The pub itself is a nice cosy, olde worlde building and the beer was first class. Every now and again you meet wonderful people and John and his st
I love this pub !! Excellent price’s friendly staff and a very warm welcome. My wife and I visit Boroughbridge every 6 months or so and we always look forward to having a few pints in this fabulous old pub. The locals are super friendly and the beers are well kept. This is one of the best old pubs I

Reasonably priced drinks in a cosy friendly pub. Front rooms have open log fires which is a must have on a winter's evening. Staff are very friendly and loved to chat making visitors welcome.
Very friendly, good service, nice meals. It has a separate restaurant or if you wish you can eat in the bar area. Full of chatty people so you can always have a natter if you wish . Its a traditional pub with low ceilings, beams and open fire . Dogs are also welcome, however It also has various rooms
Lovely Sunday lunch, plenty of it freshly cooked and nice and hot. Friendly staff, lovely homely atmosphere. Two course Sunday lunch £10.70 which includes tea or coffee, drinks at the bar are cheap. Lovely coal fires in the bar area, we will definitely go back.
