A large pub with lots of seating. We visited on a Friday evening and still found space. There was the normal Weatherspoons menu, which has a large varied menu with something for everyone.
The pub was clean and had a nice feel.
Our food came quickly and was well cooked. Portion sizes were also good.
Quite a large spoons subtly decorated with a definite move away from all the wood which seems, to me at least, to give it a much grander feel. The staff were lovely: attentive but not oppressive and just generally cheery and everything was clean and tidy. There definitely seems to be a big feeling of almost family between staff and locals which was wonderful to see that there is an active level of interest in the members of the community. And the toilets are on the ground floor. The Guinness was excellent.
Loved this place. We had ordered food from meal deal and any 3 item menu. Chicken jalfrezi, chicken Tikka and fish/chips dish were delicious. Pizza and nachos were delicious too. Enjoyed the food and ambience. In the evening we got two options to order food, one from counter and second using online by scanning bar code printed on table. I see it as good option. Don't have to rush. Food is low-priced and tasty with great quantity. Worth visiting all the time.
Weatherspoons get a bad rep, undeserved in my opinion.
This pub benefits from same level toilets as the bar a real bonus.
Plus all the superb beers sold so very economically compared to other pubs in the area.
Not like the normal wetherspoons.
Very nice
Nice local Wetherspoon pub, pretty must as you would expect from a spoons. Has a mix of clientèle, young, middle ages and older. They did seem to have quite a few beers off, which for early in a Friday night is off
Well converted food store, good food at very good prices. Large range of beers wines and spirits all at really amazing prices. Worth a visit as it is near the town centre.
As an autistic person. I love going into the dairyman. It's dark, and there's no bright lights to affect my photophobia. The food is good and the staff are friendly.
Nice pub in brentwood. Prices are very good. Great bunch of people in the pub.
Heard lot about it had to see for meself well nice good crowd great decor staff %100 will return
Food was nice and reasonable price and service was fast and polite
Good spacious new wetherspoons with plenty of seating and a nice long bar. The only issue I found was slow service. However, there was only one lady serving, and this was probably caused by the person being served ordering 8 jagerbombs, four double whiskey cokes, and a whole bunch of shots so understandably it took some time to pour everything there and it being a Sunday!
Situated on the main high street. A Wetetherspoons, an absolutely super range of lager, real ales and various other drinks on offer, the prices for selected ales can be as low as £2.50 a pint. There's an ample breakfast menu at very affordable prices. There is also a wide of main meals available and it seemed a daily special at lunchtime. To me, this establishment offered very good value for money. The staff were very friendly and efficient. I will definitely visit again next time I'm in Brentwood.
Just like most spoons, they don't like clearing the tables and wiping them. We had to fetch our own beer, as it was on the side 5 mins and we need a drink. Nice to have the toilets on the same level as the bar, normally up stairs. Would visit again.
Food service and quality is first class even when it's rammed on a Friday! Could do with a little more space due to popularity.
