Arrived at the wellington after 2.30 after the kitchen had closed, but the young man behind the bar was very nice and helpful and gave us menus to order. Such a polite helpful member of your staff nothing was too much trouble. The food was delicious too will definitely return. Thankyou.

Absolutely love this place. We've been here twice now in the last few weeks. Parking can be a pain for some but that's the only negative. Staff are awesome, especially the dude behind the bar. You know who you are! Music was wicked when we went on 20.07.2023. Proper 80's tunes. Thanks and see you soon.

Our first meal in the UK. We had a fish sandwich with chips and a steak pie. The steak pie was hands down our favorite. Update - so we have hit all the pubs in Borehamwood The Wellington is by far the best option for beer and food selection.

If you’re after quality food & drink in a superb & immaculate environment, this is definitely the ideal Public house for you. It’s literally a stone’s throw from the rail station, the staff are really welcoming, friendly & polite & there’s plenty of entertainment in regards to televised sports & music. The prices are slightly higher than other Borehamwood Pubs, but that’s reflected in the overall ambience of the establishment.

Drinks are lovely, just wish there were more choices for cocktails and the service is amazing and quick. Sat in the beer garden and it was nice but after a while the benches become a bit uncomfortable and there were a few loud customers near us which wasn't great.

I went to watch the Wales Vs Scotland Rugby match and there wasn't enough seating at the screen showing it. So I sat somewhere else and they kindly put the match on for me! Had a nice pint and a great plate of cod, chips and mushy peas. Very friendly and accommodating staff - highly recommended!
