Absolutely amazing regulars friendly landlord amazing couldn't ask for a more friendlier pub loved every moment
Great place for live music on a Saturday night xxx
I have to say first time for me and my uncle going to this pub. It’s nice & clean modern and new. Mark the manager great welcoming and polite and friendly. It’s nice and local pub as we are new to this the place. Has a nice pool table and darts which is good. Also other people in that he place really friendly and nice.
Thanks from Zac and Gill.
Really nice friendly staff ....when we southend united supporters visited recently...lovely clean and welcoming place
Was "quiet" for a Saturday night but had a fun time. Prices reasonable. Some clientel "over friendly" but good for a local boogie.
Mark and his team have done a great job in launching this pub in the area. Customer service has improved. Prices are more than competitive. There are good quality TV screens everywhere The whole atmosphere is great. We'll done to Mark and his team!!!!
Been staying in Borehamwood the past 2 months. Every night I’ve headed straight to the good companion mark and India have been great “companions” throughout 10/10
Nice pub. Was lovely peaceful atmosphere, only me 2 mates and two locals. Music was diabolical. It would of been okay if you was in your 70s or 80s probably brought memories back. Like I said. Nice pub friendly and welcoming staff. They even put the golf on when we asked for it.
Would be 5 star but the music let it down
I haven't eaten there yet, I certainly will eat there in future.

What once was the "Wishing Well" has now become the "Good Companion" is now attracting a growing clientele of the more mature generation.
The prices of beer is unbeatable and the new landlord Daryl forgive me if I've spelt your name wrong is friendly and approachable. I do enjoy a pint here 👍🤠
Very nice pub in Borehamwood. Friendly service and good prices. Plenty of screens make it a great place for watching sport.
Well worth a visit.
Nice pub for watching sport.
Really nice place, lovely people, good music.
Nice place , good prices , got a seat. Only issue was background music was too loud .
It's a nice place to stop for a pint on a wander around

Always enjoyed coming to this Pub it was My Grandad Patrick Cunningham his Drinking Pub until he moved to Ireland In 2012 he lived in Borehamwood since 1985 and he loved this Pub and when I visited him it would be meeting him there lots of times even if I had a soft drink because of driving
Love this Irish pub, music on a Saturday is always good and the bar staff are all awesome..... Great atmosphere on a Saturday lunchtime.... Also have all the sports and you can take your own food in if you get peckish
nice place to have a drink but not recommended to go with your children but saying that is not a bad place to have a pint with your friend or your girlfriend if you like ciders and ales and beer, down the high Street is borehamwood studios well-known for old English films and dramas and comedy and along the high Street a lot half Turkish restaurants and takeaways yum yum in your tummy
